MY ICG Coins

ICG is definetly not a Top Tier grading company. Well I started on my mission to look at ICG coins, as a great investment and means of crossover grading. I have seen a few of their coins at shows and there the best value coins out there, but it seems that the majority of coins that carry icg don?t end up at shows but instead on eBay or other auction sites. I never thought ..... I have been collecting coins off and on for around 30 years and never thought I would end up here. Definite perception differences between PCGS and NGC out on eBay

I've seen posts attesting to the same, but my own experiences have completely confirmed it I put some of my Morgans out on eBay recently. Some graded by PCGS, some by NGC. I have two coins, with a similar book value and that have been on eBay for several days now. The NGC coin has been visited 15 times and has a current bid of 99 cents. Buying Cheaper on Ebay than at US MINT

What is really the dealer price Or is Jamestown Dollar not popular Recently I purchased Jamestown Silver Dollar NGC PFUC69 on Ebay for 29.00 The mint selling the same coin for 39.00 + the grading fee. Why is this coin not popular or their are too many? I don not collect comm. but I like the coin for the nice design. I think this is one of the nicer ones and more desirable comm. coin. But I guess I am wrong.

Using Ebay to build sets

2000 Silver Proof set 69 or bust I have been selling non-esential items on eBay that I no longer need or desire and take the proceeds and purchase NGC slabbed coins. I am enjoying the challenge of maintaining my budget and limiting my purchase to the money from the sale on other items. NGC, Blazing fast

Are they not real busy?? My 1999 silver proofs were received Aug 30, and today, they are in quality control already. I talked to my wife, and she is gonna let me take advantage of the quick NGC turnarounds, and submit all my proof sets. I have a silver 98 set coming from ebay, and will send it in with my clad 98. Walkers on my mind...

If you haven't seen Jackson's recent article on Walkers, you should. I read a recent posting by Jackson about a Proof Walker in his collection that failed to get a Cameo Designation. Regardless of designation, the coin is truly a beautiful one, and made it a point to tell him so. Walker Just Missed Cameo

I'm not sure of the criteria I finally received my 3 coins back from NGC that I had graded and they are even nicer than I remembered. For about a month they have just been typed letters in the "order status" section of the registry. I must admit that it is exciting when I get them returned-maybe even a bit more than when I first bought them, presented beautifully in their new unscratched plastic holders. its my lucky month i just got permession from my wife to invest $20000.00 in coins for resale now or at a later date. what do i do with this gift? i come to you, my fellow collectors, where do i spend this money?? Dealers sleep at night??

How do they do it? So today I went to a local coin show to see what was out there that I had to have and I noticed a dealer with 43 First Spouse coin sets on his table. And after talking with him he said he was able to get 15 of the third issue by using friends/families to buy them. I myself tryed to log on to the site and as we all know the Mints server is "slow" to put it nice. I really dont like the overall coin design but I really dont like the way some people are sticking it to us normal

I was Asleep Yesterday and I was Just Curious ???

Gold is Good Stuff !!! I was just curious how long it took for anyone that ordered the 3rd coin in the series of the First Spouse Jefferson Coin before the Mint said Sold Out??? I figured since they would limit only one coin to a household that I would have a chance to try to buy it from the Mint when I woke up later in the day. There I go thinking again....Ha Ha Ha !!! Well at least I have some cool Gold in my Registry Set
