PAYBACK from the US Mint ? !! :o

I just got presidential proof sets These coins are AWESOME !! virtually no flaws on many of the 40 coins !! I think there will be many 70 sets in there, much better than the sets I received in previous years, which will require a lot of breaking up to get 70 sets. I'm Sorry to hear about that, I've had this happen before, but not with UPS. Many Times its ALWAYS fedex or some USPS. Mine arrived today like I wrote a journal about, But I didn't have this problem when He handed me mine I had to sign for it in return.... But I've found certain areas are different and many times the carrier will sign for the box and state simply that there was nobody present at the time of the delivery( Seeing that the mint doesn't Require that they cannot leave the package w

My UHR came today

The Mint is about 25 days late Just got home from work the find my Thousand Dollar + UHR coin sitting out in the cold and on my porch. I dont feel real good about this. I lock up my coins and now the mint just places these high dollar coin out for anyone to take. I Like the over the top box and OGP that come with this coin. Nothing like a $50 dollar box. I store my coins in a safe and the box is just too big to go inside

Be careful, you may not have to sign for your UHR when it arrives

The only fly in the ointment to an enjoyable day when my UHR arrived. Yesterday evening I received an email from the mint stating that my UHR is on the way. Typically, I receive my items the day after notification. As fate would have it, I worked the graveyard shift last night, assuring I would be home to sign for my delivery. Finally "UHR" Is Here!

Just Received 54 minutes ago and looked over for about 15 minutes, god are they beautiful! Just received my UHR About 50 minutes ago, I Looked it over for about 15 minutes and drooled over how gorgeous they really are! I'm praying for top grade as I already have it packaged and am about ready to drop off at the post off next day air to NGC. So I should beat the cut-off date of march 9th, as they should receive my coin at Thursday/Friday at latest! Good Luck to anyone else who receives there

"Blew thru 100-K & on my way to 150! Greetings Collectors, The new point totals for the two best half dollars of the 20th century (in my opinion) has given me quite a shot in my point totals and has re-newed my interest in my halves. ONE MORE TO GO TO COMPLETE SET!!!!!

1829 Classic Head Half Cent Well I bought this 1829 Half Cent raw and sent it in to NGC for grading. It came back a MS62BN. I only have one more coin to complete my Classic Head Half Cent Set (1809-1835). That being an 1809 C-3 or C-6. It's taken awhile to complete but I have enjoyed the journey. I completed a business strike Indian Head Cent Set about 5 years ago and sold it. I plan on keeping this one for a long time.

The last word I received from the mint is that the new mailing date for my UHR was going to be 4/26/09 SO imagine my surprise when I went to the post office this morning and there the Beauty was. I examined it real closely, showed it to my wife and her remarks were "Now how much did WE pay for that?"I let it fly, packaged it up and sent it off th NGC for grading and fingers crossed for the top MS70 grade. Oh the amenities! Hello everyone! It is with mixed emotions that I bring you this news. My Hindenburg has crashed. Yup..... Not one (1) member thought it was a good idea to get it graded. A Nice Tax Refund This Year!

I have already started spending it too! I am a lucky person right now. I get a healthy tax refund AND my yearly bonus (for 2008) will find its way into my checking account this week. Release the emergency brake

I can tell that nothing has moved the last week of march, maybe the emergency brake is on. Delivered-24 coins for 15 day grade 2-09-09, march -01 still no grades. Mailed 24 more coins 2-20-09 no e-mail from acceptor that it showed up. Filled out job applications and called for work but not one person called me all week.
