"WOW"

I've been reading The Official RED BOOK A Guide Book of MORGAM SILVER DOLLARS A Complete History and Price Guide 3rd EDITION written by Q. David Bowers I wasn't even aware of Morgan or Peace Dollars until 1961. When the Air Force sent me to Montana. Most of us young airmen didn't care for them. When we received change it was in Silver Dollars. They were bulky and banged against our legs! We didn't look at dates or mint marks. Now I wish i had been more aware! Have a Great Collec

FIRST PURCHASE OF THE NEW YEAR

Upgrade of my Walkers Like most of you, I looked back over the last year to see now my collections are progressing! I decided that I needed to continue to uprade my Walkers where I could! I obtained this 1939 Walker MS-67, which I felt was a real steal, and I had to have it. The EBAY Bucks made a nice dent in the cost! To see old comments for this Journal entry, click here. WALKERS

Newest addition Walker are still one of the Coins I dearly like and will continue to Collection. Some of the dates are not very affordable in certain grades, like MS-67, I've tried to upgrade but it is slow. I'm still not used to hundreds of dollars for one coin let a lone Thousands! This is my lastest a 1917! To see old comments for this Journal entry, click here. New comments can be added below.

ELVIS is in the HOUSE!

This pass summer we celebrated Elvis's 75th Birthday. This $2 bill is one of the items that I purchased! I know some people think it is wrong to color dollar bills! But it has been done, and they will have to live with it. Also, some think it is a waste of money! I'm a COLLECTOR and follow one rule: Collect only what you like! Elvis is someone I like and have a small collection of. I didn't purchase it thinking of a profit or loss. Just some I found appealing. To see old comments for

"WINE, WOMEN, and SONG!

I agree with Kerry its time to cut back on buying coins! During the time I was sick and before, I was buying raw coins. BUT didn't have the engery to submit them for grading! Now I've been submitting them and saving for for more important things! Like WINE(oh I forgot we don't drink wine, it will have to be coca cola), WOMEN (My Wife she is having a birthday this month and next month we will be married 47 years! So she deserves to be treated nice), SONG ( I can't carry a tune in a bucket. B

"MY TWO CENTS" cont

I've been reading my COIN WORLD this past week! Then it hit me! The Collection Manager reads "You'll now be able to organize your entire collection, monitor purchases and sales, establish goals and more". In other works forget the "Old Registry" and start learning the "NEW ONE". I still don't understand the "NEW" but I'll learn! Here's my newest purchase! "MY TWO CENTS"

about THE NEW COLLECTORS SOCIETY! First of all I'm not impressed or Happy! The first thing I like to do, was check the Registry and see who was doing what. I could see if I wanted to contact someone! When I would add some coins, I would be at or near the top. Today I added 4 coins and they are somewhere on page 2? I don't know what I'm doing wrong but that's my first complaint! "RARE PANDA"

This set has a limited mintage. About 30,000 sets were minted for worldwide collection. Chinda is becoming free to own things and the Panda is one of the most desired. You can see by my set I have a long way to have a perfect. You can see by my picture, why this is one of my favorite coin! To see old comments for this Journal entry, click here. "Need Reading Lessons"

Or Glasses or Both: Found a China coin I really want. One was for $1800.00 and one was for $450.00! The $1800 was way out of my buget, but the $450 I felt I was in for a killing. I was KILLED alright, when it was received, it was a MEDAL MS-69. not Panda MS-69. I purchased a Franklin Proof-66, after the purchase I looked again PROOF! I didn't want a Proof I wanted a MS! Shows want happens when you get to much on your plate! I just have to take my time from now on! Clay To see old co
