Would You Believe!

Proof Set 70. ..I was starting to believe that the Canada Proof sets didn't contain any PF 70's! Well, I was wrong, I received my first 70 after submitting four different sets. ..My youngest granddaughter will be one in April. JAMES MADISON

Just received from NGC. ..Well I now have the fourth coin for 2007! When I started this set it looked like it would be just one year type set. Congress passed a law and President George Bush signed it, requireing the U.S. Mint to take In God We Trust off the edge and put it on the obverse or reverse ASP. When I was in the U.S. Air Force and later Civil Service, when I was told ASAP, that meant have it done yesterday. The Mint says ASAP means 2009. ..The Monroe coin to be released first this

MICE in the REGISTRY

Newest Addition ..I didn't understand and still don't know why Australia put out four coins last year and started a new coin this year. After receiving the newest coin, it looks to me that they have a new minting process!

U.S. MINT DELIVERS!

Received yesterday 7 Feb 2008! ..My 2008 Proof (Clad) Statehood Quarter set arrived yesterday from the Mint. As a whole, I'm very impressed with this group more than any of the others. Now I'll have to put them in line to send to NGC for grading! ..The Mint is doing a great job when you think of all the groups and people telling them what to do. Can you think of any great accopmlishment that a Commimittee as done? All our past coins were designed by one or two people.

First French Settlement

Just back from grading by NGC! ..Pardon my French, but this coin is &@X*%@# BEAUTIFUL! Canada and the United States both have a rich history with the people of France. Collecting this series has been very rewarding and educational, these coins are GREAT. ..Collectors Society has a outstanding series of coins to collect and I don't understand why more members aren't involved with this set?

Panda Mania!

Submission back from NGC and in the den. ..I have found this series to be a fun one to collect, but it hasn't been producing the Top grades that others provide. When I look at other dens and on EBay top grades are short in the early years but get better in the latter years. ..The one I have pictured today is one of twenty-five thousand worldwide.

Gift from Santa

Actually, a submission return from NGC. ..I started collecting certified Silver Eagles in 2004 then, and still now some dealers and collectors don't think much about them as worth collecting! Morgan Dollars

A must have series! ..When I first started collecting Morgan dollars, I jumped in with both feet. I looked around to see what would set me apart from other sets, so I sarted with Binon's. I felt if I obtained all that I could I would be set. Then I discovered Redfield, Fitzgerald, Richmond and on and on and on. I looked at what I had and could see I was going no where. AUSTRALIA LUNAR SERIES?

I didn,t see this one coming! ....Here I sat, Fat, Dumb and Happy! I had completed my goal and now could compete with the big boys. Cheerios dollar!

I read an article in Coin World that I found very interesting! ....The U.S. Mint and General Mills ran a promotional program, where 5,500 Sacagawea 2000-P dollars were placed at random in Cheerios cereal boxes. The reverse was struck from dies that were different than the circulation and annual collector sets. Wedding Gift!

Great gifts! ....My oldest granddaughter got married this past weekend, 3 November 2007. One of the gifts we gave her and her new husband, was a 2000 Millennium Set (Silver Eagle NGC MS-69 and Sacagawea NGC MS-67). Quest!
