AIN'T THAT A SHAME!

You have to go outside of NGC for the highest grades! If you want to be in the TOP in the IKE Proof Dollar set, you need to purchase PCGS coins to get a proof 70. People are always saying PCGS grades tighter, not the case with IKE"s. Any how, take a look at my newest Panada graded by NGC! [attachment=:name]

BLUENOSE

Just back from NGC! Purchased this coin from a coin dealer in Canada, it is in great demand! I have four children, two boys and two girls. I'm trying to build each one a Proof American Silver Eagle set in PF-69 with a 70 here and there. For the spouses (3) a Mint State 69 American Silver Eagle set (I keep all the 70's). I have six grandchildren, I'm try to build each one a Mint State 69 American Silver eagle set. My oldest boy shows interest in his collection. For my youngest boy on h

F-86 SABRE

Just back from NGC I purchased this coin from a collector in North Dakota, and sent it to NGC for grading. Reading the journals and listening to people, there seems to be a Theme in coin collecting. The collector is USUALLY a man and he has a passion for his coins, but his family dosen't. The wife will say that's nice, now take out the garbage, the kids want coins they can spend! So we all wonder what will happen to my collection when I'm gone? [attachment=:name]

RE: Taking pictures of coins

Some people really do have great pictures! SOME DAY I'm going to get serious and set up a place to take amazing pictures of my pecious coins. Heck, most days I'm lucky to remember to get dressed before I go anywhere! Today, I received another Panada for my collection! I just think they are beautiful coins! [attachment=:name]

A Time For Gold

A Time For Silver and A Time For Platinum When you hear about people getting investment advise, you are told NOT to put all your eggs in one basket! It is suggested to have about 10% in perious metals. I agree, and what better way than to have fun while doing it. My lastest GOLD! [attachment=:name]

RE: Finalized & Shipping

I feel your pain. When I have this problem, I check to see if I had done everything NGC has asked when submitting an order. My next step is to contact NGC and tell them the problem. They get THOUSANDS of orders and will make mistakes, but give them a chance to correct it. They always have for me! This is my lastest PANDA! [attachment=:name]

FIVE COINS TO NGC

FIVE COINS BACK FROM NGC I gave my order to the Post Office on 16 April 2007. NGC received my order on 18 April 2007. NGC gave my completed order to the USPS on 27 April 2007. NGC sent me an E-Mail on 27 April 2007, said my order on been shipped. I receive my order from the Mailman, today 2 May 2007. I asked why so long to receive it? He said must not have been priorty! It is marked PRIORTY! So my way of thinking is, NGC has done their job well, someone else needs to pickup their e

DON'T TELL!

Make mistakes, learn from them, move on! During my short period of life, I've made a lot of mistakes. You just need to learn from them, don't tell everyone, and move on. While collecting coins, my BIGGEST mistake is getting caught up on the TV sales pitch, and over paying for the coin! I've learned, and don't buy from TV anymore! EBay, dealers and other collecters and the U.S. Mint is my main source now! Still you have to be careful and research. Recently, I've stuck my toes over the bor

Coins From China?

I agree! Why would you go to China to get coins or order from China? We have thousands of coin dealers here and millions of others who would sell you coins. Heck, I even have a couple I would sell. Meanwhile, I would like you to see the newest baby to my family of coins. She just arrived today! [attachment=:name]

1878 8TF Vam

My newest addition! There is just something about receiving a coin in the mail that has such a rich history! Because of this series I haven't been able to get a complete set of Morgans yet! I see by alot of the sets it has taken most Collectors years to accumlate a complete set! So be it, I've been working for four years and will continue as long as I can.

U.S. MINTS

My U.S. Mint journeys have been short! In 1979 I visted my first U.S. Mint. I had to go to Denver to learn how to be a retail sucess by running a Montgomery Wards Catalog Store (They went broke). While there I made a visit to the Mint. I wasn't into coin collecting very much and didn't come away very impressed! Maybe it was because they didn't give me anything FREE! 2003 my wife had to attend a conference in San Francisco. While she was in class I went looking for the Mint. I found it,

RICHMOND COLLECTION Morgans

Was close to being in the Top 100! I obtained this Richmond Morgan on EBay. I now have 21 different Richmond Collection of Morgans! At one time I was close to being in the Top-100 with this set. There have been other Richmond Collection Morgans, but they have been more than I'm willing to pay. So this will be a long term set to built!

RICHMOND COLLECTION

Newest addition! This is my newest addition to my Richmond Collection. As with most of this collection, I obtained this one from David Lawrence Rare Coins. They have always treated me well. On one order they couldn't find the coin I ordered, so they cancelled my order and sent me a book for my inconvience. (They sent me, 100 Greatest U.S. Coins). There is just something about this collection that has got into my blood. Just like Shadow Lane Inc, I put in a bid which I felt was just right

NGC PEOPLE R AWESOME

I think they have mistaken me for Bill Gates! When I see the coin shows on TV, and the thousands of coins they offer, I think NGC must be over whelmed! But, when I have a problem, NGC treats me great! When the TV people are out of the picture, us little collectors will still be supporting NGC! When I sent my train in for repairs, not only did NGC fix it they put it on the right track! Thanks NGC, this hobby is fun becuase you CARE!

All ABOARD!!!!

The Fourth Engine in the series This is the fourth train engine in this series, but it is a diesel. Canada has a great train history of transportation. The last train I rode was pulled by a diesel, our own Heber Valley Railroad in Heber City, Utah.

Toot! Toot! Train Time

I hope this one is labeled correctly! Jackson informed me when my last train left the Station it had the wrong sign(I wondered how they got a Buggy out of a steam engine?) and went to the wrong track in the Registry! I contacted NGC and they are going to correct the problem and put the train on the correct track! I was thinking which is my second favorite train? It should be one that I've ridden and will ride again. At this time it has to be at the happiest place on earth! The Disneyland

TRAINS! TRAINS! TRAINS!

I Like Trains! My favorite is the The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. I first heard of this train when my favorite movie star, at that time (Audie Murphy) was in town promoting his new movie "Night Passage". I didn't get to see or ride this train until 1989! I fell in love with it! Since then, I've only been able to ride it one more time. Trains are like coins, they tell history!

RE:NGC's the Greatest

I Don't Have Any Degrees! I Don't Have Any Titles! I Don't Have Any Money! BUT, NGC treats me like I have all three! If I have a problem, they fix it to my satisfaction! They have Great people who are always there and care! THANKS FOR THE GREAT JOB NGC! YOU MAKE THIS HOBBY FUN!

EAGLE 20th ANNIVERSARY

SILVER DOLLAR SET I now have nine 2006-W Silver Eagles after receiving my lastest one on March 5, 2007. The best being MS-70 (Only one) and the rest MS-69! How many do you need you ask? Being a Collector and Coin Collector I say you can never have too many! Looking at this coin, can you honestly not say that NGC has the best presentation? 2006MVC-17

COIN REGISTRY

To Be or Not To Be! When I was young, dumb and had ICG coins, I also wanted NGC to include ICG. Writing and listening to no avail, I solved this problem by getting rid of my ICG's. The PROBLEM is you want to register your coins! Don't complain to NGC, go to ICG and tell them to start a REGISTRY! That will give you a place to put your coins. Have you seen more than ONE TV show that sells ICG's? Most that I've watched usually stay with the top two (with ANACS on a couple), Turn your TV of

My Precious Precious Coins!

20th Anniversay Silver Dollar Sets, PART-2! Well! I received my second order of the 20th Anniversay Silver Eagles sets back! NGC found my girls wanting, but one of the boys was perfect! Now after getting to spend some time with, they will be going to live with their sisters and brothers in a box, in a dark hole! I now have four complete sets with two extra coins I was able to get on EBay. Even with the defects NGC found, I think all of them are perfect. NOW what! Do I forget the 20th An

Eye Maid A Miststeak!

Platinum Eagles On 8 February 2007 eye received my NGC MS-70 Platinum Eagle, $10 Early Releases. While enjoying my newest addition, and thinking it will soon be going into a box and black hole. Eye said to myself, self you have maid a miststeak! Eye have EXCELLENT HINDSIGHT, but my FORESIGHT is lacking, poor, not very good, etc; Eye realize that when eye started collecting coins in 2004, from an investment point of view my "pot of gold" should have went into PLATINUM! BUT, Eye'm a COLLE
