"BRITANNIA"

Returns back from NGC. The Great Britain series of BRITANNIA Silver 2 Pounds coins are currently my favorite. Unlike the American Silver Eagle, the design on the Britannia changes each year. I wonder if the design change, is why it's hard to get great grades in both Proof and MS? One on the things I like about the Proof Britannia it is a limited series. Now if NGC would provide a slot for the smaller demontaions. A 20Pence, a 50Pence and a 1Pound are also put out in Proof. To see old

GETTING BETTER!

Had surgey last Wednesday to repair the hole in my neck where I've had a Trek for two years! Starting to feel a lot better, able to work on my coin collection more. I've purchased a lot of raw coins this past two years and have started to get them graded. Made myself promise not to start any new series until I've completed what I started. REGISTRY-belongs to someone else!

When I buy from a major dealer-usually I don't have a problem! It seems that when I buy from a small dealer, or individual I have this problem more often than I use to! It's dishearting when you receive your coin, try to put it in my Registry & it belongs to someone else! It almost brings tears! I guess it's the time we live in, peoople don't care about any body but SELF!

"HOW DO YOU KNOW"?

If someone is a Dealer or an agent for the dealer? When I first joined the Collectors Society, I wanted to build a Walking Liberty TOP SET! But, when I checked the TOP SET and it belonged to a dealer or one of his salesmen. How could I possibly complete with him, was he using his own dime or the dealers? Then his set was removed from the Registery. Now he's back completing for the TOP again. How do I know, I've received Litature from his company. I decided to build a set I could afford and not

PANDAS!

A nice up grade from a MS-66! I think the Pandas are very nice to collect. The design is changed very year, but still keep the Panda. I don't know about Precious Metals, but I treat them just like the stock! Keep buying slow and stead and over time you will make out just fine! That's why I'm into collecting coins, SILVER, GOLD and some others.

The Eagle has Landed

received my first Silver Eagle for 2010! About two weeks ago I was Channel surfing when I came across Robert Chambers. He was selling Silver Eagles, of course he had the guy with him that's always trying to unsell what Robert is selling. I forced myself to keep watching what Robert had to say about the Eagles. Well I purchased two! I sure hope they come out with the PROOF ones for 2010!

MORGANS

was one of the first coins I started to collect. When I joined the U. S Air Force in 1961. The first place I was sent to after bacis training, was Great Falls, Montana. When we went downtown to purchase something, we always received silver dollars in our change. We didn't like them because they were to heavy to carry around. When I joined the Collectors Society there was a lot of talk about 1878 8TF VAMS. This is my latest addition.

More Submissions for 2010!

More Coming I just sent by second submission to NGC today. It's the last of The First Day of Mintage Presidential Covers for 2009! Also, I posted my newest purchase. The 2008-W Buffalo G $5. I sure wish I had been smart enough to purchase these when they first came out. My Buffalo Herd is sure growing. They consist of 3 from the Salt Lake City 2000 Olymic Winter Games. I don't count my pictures of buffalo, but I do count my gold and silver ones!

Journals!

Great Fun to Read! It's been awhile since I've made a journal entry. The recovery from my Heart surgey, and related problems from that is taking along time to get back to (normal?). All my Doctors sing the same tune it takes time. It was very nice to see some new faces on the Journal Awards. A VERY GREAT DAY!

Real Food As some of you know, I haven't had any food or drink since July 2008. Well today I had a test, and they said I could start to eat with puree food. So I had some tomato soup. I've been dying to have it. Also I upgraded my Walking Liberty sets.

Great Additions

Thanks to our friend Raresov I was able to purchase 4 coins from our friend Raresov! They make a great addition to my Kookaburra set. You get to meet alot of friends on this site. So far I've had deals with over 4 members and they all been quick and satifactiory. They make this Society fun to be part of!

"Mint Cancelled"

2009 Utra High Relief Gold Received an E-Mail from the U.S. Mint and they cancelled my ordered, because they couldn't process it! They invited me to resubmit. Did they cancell because I already have one? The web site didn't say one per person or family. Oh well, live and learn

Coin Collector HSN

Was watching Saturday While I was watching the Coin Collector on Saturday, they had on 2009 D.C. and U.S. Territories Quartes Proof SILVER, for sale. I said I've been checking the US Mint web site just about everyday and I haven't seen them. So I checked the Mint website again and sure enough there they were. A Little Bit More Gold!

A few upgrades Early this year I purchased some gold off of TV. They were advertiseing Gold clear out. So I felt why not, $84 for a $5 Gold Eagle you had to buy 5, we purchased 10, for a total $844 plus shipping. When I received them, they were different dates in a platic holder. Well Well Well

The US MINT came thru! Received my 2009 Ultra High Relief Double Eagle Gold Coin BOOK? today. With all the problems the mint was having, I expected something very nice. Surprise the book is about a third of the size I was looking forward to and about 50 pages short. What I was expecting was something like 100 Greatest U.S. Coins, a book that DLC Auctions sent me to make up for a coin I ordered and didn't receive, plus the money I had paid.

CAN YOU BELIEVE!

Coin Collector on HSN. The Coin Collecter on HSN last night and this past weekend was offering 298 MS-70 of the UHR? He said he didn't have them all because the graders were still grading them? How can he get 298 when alot of people have ordered them and are still waiting? How come the graders are still grading and how is he assured MS-70? Any way I ordered my on the first day and when I received it, took a few minutes and then it was in the mailed to NGC. Didn't get the grade I wanted but

"UHR"

It's in my hands! The mailman delivered my "UHR" this morning! I ordered it the first day it went on sale, the book is still on backorder. I hope it is as nice as the coin! Now my problem is, do I send it in for grading? It's to bad you can only order ONE!
