"MY TWO CENTS"

about THE NEW COLLECTORS SOCIETY! First of all I'm not impressed or Happy! The first thing I like to do, was check the Registry and see who was doing what. I could see if I wanted to contact someone! When I would add some coins, I would be at or near the top. Today I added 4 coins and they are somewhere on page 2? I don't know what I'm doing wrong but that's my first complaint! I just have to say something

eBay, sales tax, Collectors Soc. I havn't added a journal in quite sometime, havn't even read ant up until tonight. I must say I feel all of your pain. I have over 4,000 toal feed backs on eBay and have been selling for some time and got my first 2 neg's this year both on coins that cost less than $10 one becuase the person paid more than the coin was worth, the bidding started at 99 cents how was this my fault. More info just in As I am sure many of you are following my first post on this matter (Well This Is New) I contacted the NGC member who tried to register my coin. He did respond in a timely manner and what some of you surmised is in fact true. They purchased the coin on E-Bay from an NGC dealer and they used the cert number from the photo to go ahead and register the coin before they received it in hand. Of course that is when it came back to them that it is already registered to me. The s

Agree and Disagree Although I agree with the vast majority of what W.K.F. states in his post there are two points in which I tend to disagree a little bit. The first lies in that NGC only adds points for a coin registered in one or more sets just once. So, your point total for all sets is not affected by having the same coin in more than one set at all. The second is that I have trouble seeing the problem with someone protecting themselves from theft as well. The seller of a coin has a right t

Some livid rants are bringing up good points. I'm finally realizing at home just how much of a packrat I've been, so I've dabbled in EBay selling to dredge the slough out of the house. Talked to Amy I decided to give Amy a call this afternoon to see if there was anything else I needed to do besides "reject" the request. She told me no and also stated that this kind of mistake happens "all the time". I just stole a POP 1 NGC SMS MS69FT Roosevelt Dime

More problems with site upgrade???

All columns not working right. I'm generally pleased with the site upgrade... However, I added the mintmark and composition columns to my collection manager. The mintmark column has ALL (both) the info in it. Mintmarks and composition are all in the mintmark column. My eagles don't show the mintmark, they all just say EAGLE?? New variety keeps me interested in 1921 Morgans

In looking for clashed coins a few weeks ago, I found some interesting coins from 1921-S. One in particular was a keeper... I am a collector of clashed Morgans when and where I can find them. Acorns to Oaks, or should it be "coins in the fountain"?

Mint and Proof sets, a stack of them... Should they be graded? I have Proof sets, Eisenhower Dollars, dated 1776-1976 with the Kennedy half, and the usual shrapnel that accompanies them, [quarter, dime, nickel & penny].
