Strange Looking 1964 (P) Kennedy Half Dollar

Blind Eagle and Almost no E PLURIBUS UNUM - Is it worth anything more than the price of Silver? Bought a bunch of 1964 P&D Mint Sets cheap and was looking through the coins for the usual Full Torch (FT) Dimes or Jefferson Nickels with actual steps. completed a goal for 2013

Its been an up and down year but it's looking up Greeting fellow collectors, Today I met a goal I've been striving for a couple years now. I surpassed the 200000 registry points today with a 1981 mint set. This puts me in the 408th spot in the registry. Now with the coins I have left out to have graded this year I should be able to break into the 300rds by the first of fall. Collecting Memorial Lincoln Toners

The best thrill I've had collecting 1959 to date Lincoln's... was opening a ratty, old hand-wrapped paper roll of 1963 BU cents and finding gem after gem all with deep shades of brown, blue, orange, or sea-green. Here is the first one... This is the first coin paid off and received from the Luksic set of Lincoln 59-date coins. If they all look like this one (and I have been told they do) what a set of nice looking coins I will be receiving. An Astronomer's First Star

Here's the Reverse. In response to a request on the chat boards (from johnny9434), here is a picture of the reverse of the half dime whose obverse was shown in my previous post. The reverse also has pretty dramatic clash marks. In particular, parts of most letters of the obverse legend are visible around the reverse edge. The planchet also had curved marks that did not strike out completely. They appear to have the same curvature as a half dime, but who knows how they got there. There is

Why different cut off dates?

PCGS & NGC different cut off dates on first strike & early release for the same set? I Bought some 2013 west point silver eagle sets on the first hour they went on sale,We all know how that worked out!(or do we?) (Last year, we made some major renovations to the exterior of our house, and I want to pay off the new debt by the end of 2014.) Getting a Bit Frustrated..........

Why can't I get a coin I like in the Retro Holder?! First off, I love the NGC black Retro Holder, and was quite sad when they introduced it for the limited time last year because none of the coins I collect were eligible for encapsulation in that holder. Now, this year, they offer it again for the 2013 West Point Eagle set, and even then only in bulk submissions. Though I don't collect silver eagles, I can imagine those collectors who can't submit in bulk experienced similar frustration. No

Follow up to an issue with a slab....NGC's OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Thank you very much to Max Spiegel and NGC. A few days ago a posted a journal entry here about a West Point SAE in a retro-black holder that had all kinds problems inside the holder. I contacted Max Spiegel at NGC and he asked to me to send in the coins so he can have a look at them and see what the problem was. Acheived a Milestone today on my 1959-2008 Lincoln Memorial Circulation Issue Registry Set

Down too 10 and counting Hi everyone. Today I added a NGC MS67 1979D Lincoln Memorial with a population of 14 too my 1959-2008 Lincoln Memorial registry set. need your expert help

SMS VS MINT SETS Hello my fellow collectors, I need you help please. From 2007 thru 2010 the US Mint made SMS mint sets along with regular mint sets. I can not tell the difference between the 2 there is nothing on the sets telling you if it's SMS or a regular mint set. so how is one to tell the difference. Thank you in advance for your help. JUST TRIED CERT VERIFY
