Three Great Cent Collectors...

3 different versions???

2013 W Enhanced Silver Eagle When I need good info or help and suggestions I come here to my members site. I know that someone will have the answere to this. Are there three different versions of the 2013 W West Point Silver enhanced Eagle that is being released? I read it in one of a magazines letters sections. I don't know about it anyway. Ive sent many coins to NCS for conservation over the years with mixed results. Sometimes conservation brings out different surface conditions that were hidden before, both the good and the bad. Western Mint Registry Sets For Silver Only

I want them! I just replied to an email from Allison Emery for silver Registry sets. I've been trying for a few years now to get sets just for silver coinage. As most of you know, I love 19th century coinage, but I do like Merc dimes, Franklin halves and Walking Liberty halves. So, I would love to see for example, a set just of the O-mint Morgan dollars. I think a set of Seated Liberty coinage (either all SL coinage in one S-mint, O-mint and CC-mint), or all in one set. I personally would like

304 pts. That was the date and point value that started my NGC only Eisenhower Dollar Set. I can proudly say that as of June 10th 2013 my set is complete (not finished). I have moved up to the 3rd spot (43464 PTS.) in the Registry and #1 in the NGC only category. While it was quite an undertaking it was very rewarding in finding some good coins with some crazy deals and purchases. I don't have any of the one of kind as far as grades go, but I did manage to pick up a few of the rarer dates for

Snagged two nice specimens

One in Oregon the other in California Hello Everyone, This past Memorial Day weekend I was able to make a few coin purchases while fishing for Spring Chinook on the Rogue River in Southern Oregon. Received two coin related packages in the mail

Both the result of reading the Registry Board Hi Friends, I received two important coin related items on Saturday and today. First, on Saturday, I received a package of the Coin Armour Intercept Technology certified holder protection bags that were mentioned on this board a few month ago. I had ordered a sample a few weeks ago, and finally decided to get the product. The bags slip over the certified holder ( either NGC or PCGS). 5 Star Generals Commemorative Silver Dollar

Nice job by the U.S Mint! I received the 5 Star Generals proof coin today...the MS came last week...and I have to say that it is a fine looking coin. I was not to impressed with the MS version and was hoping the proof would have more eye appeal and I was not disappointed. It looks great in hand! 2013 American Eagle West Point Two-Coin Silver Set

Total Sets Reported Sold - About 281,310 As predicted the U.S. Mint sold a vast number of 2013 American Eagle West Point Two-Coin Silver Sets. The grand total is around 281,310 or so. I would assume all these coins will be in 69 or 70 condition as the U.S. Mint is getting rather good at making perfect or nearly perfect coins. This makes collecting modern coins a bit less interesting. Will I buy this set? Sure - but I'll wait a year or two and let the prices settle to a more normal level. Wit

Yes, I'm still here, and still over-indulging. Five months ago, I wrote about an 1861 MS66 half dime in the Heritage post-FUN show internet only auction session. It is a 1/0 overdate, but is not certified (PCGS OGH) as such, and was not cataloged as such. I had bid $2500 ($2937.50 with "juice"), not having the funds to go higher at the time.
