Rare kookaburras Today I just got this beautiful rarity For my 1990-date kookaburra set. Let me just start off by saying this 1990 PF69 is AMAZING! This 1990 PF69 is 1 of 3 pop, so it was a sure add to my set the moment I seen it, especially at the killer price I got it for. This set is currently being completed as the rest being MS/PF70! Once in a rare while, you find one, a rareish or fun coin While I do look hard for coins that are special or rarish, I was not looking for a quarter with a variation. I got it, a Bass Collection coin Today FEDEX delivered my Bass Collection 1903 S $5 MS66. It is a stunning coin, so bright and lusterous, I feel it should be rechecked for a higher grade, but I bet that has been done at least once. I am going to put this on in the next show and do what I do best, show off. This one put a grin on my face, and along with a 1994 AGE $10 MS70, I can go to bed satisfied for the moment. My Nicest Morgan..so far

Just received a 1880 S MS66Star Morgan Silver that I won while "drinking and bidding." Even as I suffer buyer's remorse for possibly paying to much for the grade, it seems like it might have been worth it, at least from a visual perspective. The contrast and frosty surfaces are amazing. I can't believe how awesome the coin looks! 2013 United States Mint - America the Beautiful Quarters Proof Sets

continuing to add to my collection good day, even though i have been low on money, i had to continue to buy the America the Beautiful Quarters Sets from the US Mint. i only collect the proof sets, and will not have them slabbed and graded by NGC because the cost might be more than what the coin is worth. collecting is a good way to learn about places in America, Mount Rushmore is the only park i have been too on this years release. hopefully i can visit the others someday. happy collecting e

NGC Messes Up An Easy Congo Coin

Easy Overdate Missed I just bought a coin from an eBay auction, which was graded by NGC. The coin is a lovely coin, and properly graded, but it is not a standard 1888 5 Centimes that it was labeled as. It is in fact a 1888/7 5 Centimes, which is very easy to detect and should have been caught by NGC. I have 3 Gem 1888/7 5 Centimes pieces (NGC MS66RB, PCGS MS66BN, and NGC MS65RD). Follow up on slot score increase

for Silver MS and PF Kennedy's Howdy Friends, I received a reply to my inquiry regarding the increase in points for the 1992 S PF slot in the Kennedy half dollar registry. It went from 119 to 2750 points over the weekend so I sent off an inquiry to NGC asking if this was correct or an error. This morning I received two reply's that they have been making adjustments to the Kennedy registry lately and that there is no error. New Addition to my 19th Century Type Set

Gobrecht's classic Braided Hair Liberty 1 Cent Hi Friends, My 1st purchase since the November Baltimore Show was a long time coming but worth the wait. For my Somerville 19th Century type set I added this lovely 1851 MS64 Brown large cent with bluish toning intertmingled with reddish hues.
