I will continue to inquire about it, thanks for the info. Error coins throw them off ? Just asking, how we can resolve this soon.

I really don’t know what happened to my coin. I assume it is in the system somewhere, but I have never been able to see it anywhere. Hopefully someone at NGC can give you more clarification. I wish you the best of luck.

I joined this fine group recently and have begun to add to my collection one by one. I went to add my new 1904 Indian Head Cent with Obverse Strike Though. I have inquired several times to see if the item had been accepted and still nothing. I'd sure like to get this in my registry. Any idea about this delay. Is the effect of COVID still present. Here is what I submitted.

It may be due to being an error. I have a 1959 Jefferson Nickel Improperly Annealed planchet error that was added to my “coin list” but doesn’t show up in my list of competitive coins.

That's pretty cool. I really liked them and the idea of them as soon as I saw them. And people can afford to collect them. That's another thing I like about them. You can get them at a great price. My kids really like them also.

The Polio Vaccine coin in a PF70 holds a significant premium over the rest of the coins in the series. Apparently they do not grade well.

One thing that keeps me away from the $18-30 scopes is no interface with iPhone. I use the iPhone to post and it takes good pictures but you can’t line out even blue tooth. As for the lights. Black them out with dabs of paint or tape or perhaps something you’ll discover laying around. This is a little different but interface with iPhone seems to be a maybe. I have finally just started practicing with my iPhone 7. I received the clip on as a gift but not all it claims

Those clip on your phone deals are not made for coin photography. I tried one and you have to be 1/2” from the coin and can’t get any light on the coin. Not to mention you can’t shoot anything bigger than a dime or the rims are out of focus. Quality camera, quality lens, good lighting and most important, the skills to use all of it. There is no substitute.

  5. Hello, and welcome to the forum. The NGC price guide is putting these coins at $25 for a PF68 and $75 for a PF69. The cameos are going for a little more, but I don’t believe your coin would receive that attribution. Keep in mind that these are coins that are already graded. It is a little hard to see the condition of your coin through the flip, but I’m not sure it would be worth the price of having it graded. It does look like a nice coin that has a little toning to it. In my opinion, without the cameo designation it is not worth the expense.
