Very pretty @Lem E bust halves so come with some very nice color to them, congrats on the new addition.
Thanks. I have strayed away from my nickel collection for a while now, but I am enjoying picking up different things and learning about them. This one looks to be a challenge, but I enjoy doing the research. So many things I like. Good thing I work a lot.

Just not true. Lots of individual collectors have posted as getting them. FYI, I got a V75 GOLD. Then I went back and got a V75 silver. Then I got the next gold coin that sold out (I don't even remember what it was it was that meaningful). And yesterday I got the CC version. Just me sitting at a desktop computer, hitting refresh every now and again. It's pure luck. No bots, no conspiracies, just luck.
I was not as lucky. I just remember boats and bicycles and getting banned several times. I tried for an hour with no luck at all. By the time I got in, everything was gone. I wasn’t too tore up over it. I still got my silver V75 eventually. Congrats on getting the gold one though.

The reference to 64 eludes me.
You are a trip brother. LGS (Lems Guessing Service). Free onion and such. I went back and forth with 64/65. (note the edit 2x) I like the coin. One of the cleanest faces I have seen on a Morgan.

Pics are excellent CB. Nice coin as well. LGS64

I don’t understand why they don’t do enrollment on these. Seems like they keep the high demand coins out of the enrollment option for whatever reason. The mint would still sell their coins without having these crash and burn sales days. Just doesn’t make sense to me, but what do I know.

I’m working on opening a small online store and have started the process to become a dealer for Dansco and other supplies. I figure as much time as I spend on coins and supplies these days might as well try to have it support itself in a small way. Once I get it worked out maybe I’ll have what you need next time. It’s definitely a work in progress getting set up with various vendors and an online site.
That would be cool. Hope you can get it up and running. Not sure what the deal is with these and being so hard to come by. The actual Dansco website is basically wiped out and has nothing. Hope you can get some stock for your store. Good luck my friend.

Dansco makes a first rate product and your beautiful mint state coins will look really nice in that album.
Thanks. It is top quality for sure. It’s fun to look for coins that I’m not worried about finding full steps or paying an arm and a leg for the coins. May take a while to finish but I’m in no hurry.

Very nice. It should give you hours of enjoyment.
Took me a minute to figure out how to get the plastic slides out.

I’ve heard the Dansco’s are hard to find right now. You’ll have a lot of fun with it. I have a Jefferson one completed through I think 2008. I need to look. I’ve been meaning to add a page or get another one and haven’t. I bought mine probably 75% complete when I got it, and finished it out. Mine are MS but not all 65/66 by any means and maybe one or two with FS. I have a feeling your album will be much nicer! But those are very nice albums. And the dust cover is nice as well.
They are not so easy to find and some sellers want a ton of money for them. Found this one on ebay. There were only 3 that I saw on there total for this particular album. This one is brand new. Had to get the dust jacket from a different seller. This one goes from 1938 to 2011 with proofs. (6 pages) it’s certainly a beefy album compared to my cheap Harris folders I have for my change find collection. I wanted this to be a nice all MS album. Its a very nice presentation. I really like it.

I got my first DANSCO album today for a little side project I’m working on. I have my regular circulation albums/folders that I have had for years, but I thought I would try to put a “nicer” album together. I didn’t realize just how nice these really are. I am impressed to say the least. I have several MS65/66 nickels that I used for research purposes and decided to crack them out and start this album. I have been buying other cheap slabbed nickels here and there to crack out and fill this thing up. The good thing is that I can get any kind of slab I want (ANACS/PCGS/ICG) since it is getting taken out anyway. I figure a nice 65/66 coin would make a good album coin and I can get them fairly cheap. I’ll get raw coins too if I can find some good pieces. Like I said, a fun little side project.

Did they do the “Advanced Purchase/release” on these too? That doesn’t help the common collector either.

I don’t even mess with it anymore after trying for the V75 Eagle last year. If I can’t get it through enrollment, I don’t even try. Funny how nobody can get through on the website yet they all sell out in minutes.

Beautiful Merc! Personally this is one of my favorite coin designs/series.
Thanks. I like the design too. Too bad it’s so little. I really like it on the palladium reverse proof eagle.

It’s beautiful. I love the woodys but I don’t have one. But that is a keeper for sure!
I’m far from a copper expert but that looks awfully clean for a 64. Some weakness here or there but to me I am a little surprised it isn’t higher. Great find!
I did some research on this coin before I picked it up. I don’t know copper much at all, but I didn’t want your run of the mill woodie. Ill have to check it better once I get it but I think I see at least one marker saying its an LDS and have seen 2 different mintages for it. If it was a higher grade, I probably wouldn’t have been able to afford it .

You actually got me looking at starting a type set so I did an autobuild from my collection. I don’t have much in there but it is a good way to start looking at other coins. I did step away from the nickels for a moment and picked this up last night. Have been looking for a nice woodie Lincoln for a while and found this. Can’t wait to see it in hand. Most likely will take the spot in my type set.

A flying eagle cent to add to the type set. I had to step up but very happy with this example. Huge thanks to @Coinbuffor being a second set of eyes. There are some good people, and numismatists, in this forum!
That thing looks like it will be a beauty. You are building one heck of a type set Woods. Everything I have seen going into that set looks top notch. Keep it up my friend.

I’d be willing to bet that 1993 quarter weighs a little heavy. It takes extra metal to so lavishly squeeze into the die recesses.
I was surprised to see the chest feather detail. You may very well be right about the weight. It is a nice strike.
