An excellent post. Well worth the reading. I sent some US coins to NGC once. NGC graders took the time to explain to me that coins, like all other living things, can expire and were kind enough to send my coins back in 'Body Bags'!

you have been caught and exposed as less than honest and you have falsely accused a major player (soon to be a private company) of some seriously shady things..
If that isn't the truth. Don't know why you come here? You come because you've been kicked off every other forum and you want the attention this stupid thread gives you. TROLL!

What I haven't told anyone yet is that I sent PCGS an email previous to sending in my Submission on the validity of the Tidy House Morgan grade and stating my claim for a SINGLE DIGIT UPGRADE, they said no problem as the grade was in question.
I would never have never sent them anything if they didn't agree upon it.
They then turned their backs and took the money, After that I couldn't communicate with them at all.
That's what most of this is all about. and the lowballed grades of my other coins.
Show me the email please.

Do we really have to hear more?
After that you can start a thread about how bad NGC treated you when you get their grades back. A fool and his money...............

There's no hostility towards this person. Did the OP take his complaint to the CU Forum - NO! Did the OP file a complaint with PCGS - NO! The OP brought his grievance into our house avoiding any contact with PCGS or their Forum. Why? You have an untold number of his comments dissing PCGS, their graders and all Californians to boot. Those are the actions of a blow hard looking to stir up troubles and those troubles could cause a grievance between this Forum and CU like in 2003 and 2004. The OP needs to accept responsibility and deal directly with PCGS instead of involving our forum and stop being a cry baby about this.

You've made some serious accusations here NevadaS&G. PCGS "scratched" your coin? Can you prove this. You say PCGS gave you a MS 64 grade for an MS 66 coin. Who says the coin was MS 66; you? Show us some pictures of the 'ruined' coin and the MS 66.
It's easy to blame the TPGs but hard to accept the responsibility. What makes you think NGC will give you any better? Will we see a thread dissing NGC in the future?
"March 25, 2004
NGC is slightly looser above MS65, but I believe that is a good thing. With PCGS you have a grade distribution like this:
MS66: 131
MS67: 52
MS68: 0
With NGC it is frequently:
MS66: 127
MS67: 43
MS68: 7
Some people point to this as NCG being looser or PCGS be more conservative. I believe it shows that NGC is being more accurate in its grading. With PCGS they have lumped a bunch of coins into one top grade. Perhaps all those coins do technically grade MS67. However, the marketplace values the higher quality examples more than the lower quality examples. With PCGS you have to take the dealers word or know how to grade them. With NGC they have put the top few "possibly technically MS67", yet superb for the grade coins into a higher grade slab to separate them from the rest. Basically, they have helped rank the quality of the coins. PCGS has taken MS66.8-to-MS68.2 coins and put them in MS67 slabs. NGC has taken the MS67.8+ coins and put them in MS68 slabs".

Patience. It's been a little slow at all the TPGs. This Covid has put a crimp in my submissions.

"Conder101 did not believe they were real back in 2007, either."
I can see why.

I use those cardboard coin mailers - available from Wizard or Lighthouse. They work okay for me and are pretty cheap. Then pack them in a Small Flat Rate Box and off they go. You can use a little bubble wrap in the box. Make sure you tape the box good.

Why was it gone? Poofed? Could there have been other threads that were Poofed already that you didn't see? Disclaimer, I have no idea, I don't frequent that forum.
No Conder, my mistake. Read the board like I usually do in the morning but must have just missed it. Mark Feld pointed it out and when I went back it was there. Apologies, my dumbness acting out again.

I second that. Hope your grades turn out to be all you wanted. I've dealt with NGC since they opened and cannot find anything bad to say about them.
