  1. Never had to deal with a return, so wouldn't know about all that.
  2. How can this even be close to the truth? I can go on ebay right now and buy most PF70 SILVER state quarters for under $20 a piece. Even if you got the quartes for free, you are going to lose money if you send them in for grading, even if they all come back 70's. Unless, of course, you have a Delaware 70.
  3. An army? There are 25 reviews total on Yelp. 25. And PCGS has graded over 40 million coins. That comes out to negative reviews by about .0001% of customers, if all reviews on Yep are negative. Hell, just on this forum alone I could find more than 25 people who would give them 5 stars. You're simply wrong Nevada. But that's the beauty of it. If you don't like them, then you don't have to ever use them again. But to complain about them here is like going into Burger King and person_without_enough_empathying about the Big Mac.
  4. I didn't think you could post anything I would agree with. You have proven me wrong.
  5. No it is not. Ebay takes 10%. Paypal takes an additional 3%.
  6. Sent 4 70's of the same NGC coin to PCGS for crossover. Only 1 of the 4 crossed. I mean, a 70 should be a 70 right?
  7. I...can't even. Orange you glad I didn't call you out on this? You can yellow all you want, but you really need to do the following first: 1. Post the email from PCGS 2. You seem to know better than one of the most trusted TPG out there. Start your own grading company. 3. Why are you still complaining about this here and not ATS? Because much like here, you will be torn to shreds. And banned. You don't happen to have a matte finish dime in your collection do you?
  8. Lol service failures? You paid for grading, they graded them. That's like asking for your money back in Vegas when you take a hit on fifteen and get a face card, all the while the dealer was showing a 6. And honestly? Why don't you go complain about it on their board and see how far that gets you?
  9. What it means is if you post a question here to Lisa, she will tell you how far behind they are. Which I think is exceptional, and transparent. Try and get a reply from customer service ATS? Forget about it. It's non-existent right now. Having dealt with both companies quite a bit over the years, this place hands down has the better customer service. And hey, at least your coins were delivered. Have you seen all the issues with USPS lately?
  10. How much more transparency do you want? I have never seen them hide the fact that they are behind. And any time someone asks how far behind, Lisa has been nothing but honest. Try even getting a reply from ANYONE in customer service ATS right now.
  11. Well I just talked to PCGS. They don't want to grade any more of your coins either. So there you go.
  12. They can't even agree on a designation for a proof (PF vs. PR)
  13. I will second that it usually only takes a day or two (usually just a day) for the PCGS coins to be accepted. However, NGC is short staffed right now due to multiple factors. Plus, the registry freeze was just lifted, so they are dealing with the backlog of requests there as well.
  14. You do realize you are playing a very expensive game here right? You also realize that coin grading is subjective? You could very well receive the same grades re-submitting to NGC that you just received from PCGS. Or lower grades. Or higher grades. Instead of just cracking them out and re-submitting again, perhaps try and learn why they graded the way they did.
  15. It's very hit or miss. I sent in 4 NGC coins to PCGS for a crossover for a registry set. All were graded PF70 by NGC. Only one crossed over to a PCGS slab at a 70. It goes both ways.
  16. If they are all being graded on the same tier, you only need one submission form. You can't pick different grading tiers on the same form.
  17. Didn't they just do a silver eagle/maple leaf thing with RCM?
  18. What is your username over there @G_P? I want to see what you said that got you banned.
  19. Judging from another post of his I just read, he used the express tier for this submittal.
  20. What are you talking about. This is a Gold Eagle. The fact that he was posting about it Sunday tells me he purchased it last Thursday, not the 1/2 ouncer that came out the 9th. There are only 1,945 of these. Not sure where you are getting 20,000. Those are selling for 4-5x mint release price raw on ebay. I can't even imagine what a 70 would sell for, as there are literally no graded golds listed that I can see. I would guess close to $14-$18,000. Would I spend $300 more to possibly make maybe an extra $4,000? Hell yes. Even if it comes back a 69 you are miles ahead.
  21. Why do you find it necessary to post on every thread yet add nothing to it? Sheesh. You have absolutely no idea of what magnification OP is using. And based on some of the photos posted on this site, these are excellent.
