  1. Pretty sure you have 30 days from release date to get them to NGC. NGC offers the Early Releases and First Releases designations for select coins received by NGC or an NGC-approved depository within 30 days of the first release of a new coin issue. The terms Early Releases or First Releases will be noted as part of the coin description on the NGC label. Early Releases and First Releases are interchangeable and the same definition and relevant cutoff dates applies to each term. Link
  2. Alison, Lisa or Maribeth, The V75 medals that the mint sold yesterday. There are select medals that are going to have signed COA's with the mint directors signature. Does NGC plan on treating these the same way they did with the 2019 eagles that had a COA? Where you would encapsulate the COA along with the medal?
  3. 7 day deadline for what? And the medals just sold yesterday. How did you expect to have them today?
  4. Isn't the modern tier topped at $2,000 value? The gold eagle is selling for over $10,000 raw on ebay right now. I'm assuming he has a gold eagle since he said he got "all" of the V75 eagles.
  5. Your serial number is just the number of your invoice plus the line number of the coin on that invoice. For example, if the invoice number is 1234567, the first coin number will be 1234567-001, the second coin 1234567-002, etc. Now, that being said, I have no idea if the gold and silver coins can be submitted on the same invoice, due to tier pricing and the value (or potential value) of the graded coins.
  6. I got one about 12:30. I purchased another from a co-worker, who also got one, for $150. (That's all he would take for it.) But the banning, captcha, etc was ridiculous.
  7. One example for NGC: Submitted 5 coins, no special labels, did not request scratch resistant slabs. Modern Tier Shipping and Insurnace to NGC: $20 Grading was $16 per ($80 total) Return Mint Packaging: $5 Handling Fee: $8 Return Shipping: $23 Total for 5 coins: $136 or $27.20 per coin
  8. Received both items yesterday, and they are both great! Thanks again for doing this @ProfHaroldHill!
  9. Or, as numerous extremely knowledgable folks have suggested, post pictures of your coin.
  10. Did you try to add it to a registry set of your own? NGC usually gives the old owner 3 or 4 days to release the coin, or dispute your claim of ownership. If there is no response from the original owner after that time period, the coin will be available to you to put in a registry set. As for silver eagles not being the in competitive set. Are you joking?
  11. No and no. And it has nothing to do with how long it would take to be graded. You need to fill out submission forms that you include with your submittal, which identifies the coins, any special labels you want, your billing information, etc. If you are worried about getting the highest grade possible, I suggest not removing the mint coins from the box they come in. Just put in a larger box along with your submittal form. And really, you would only save the maybe 3 or 4 days it takes to get to you from the miont.
  12. I don't know man. Almost half of the topics in this forum are nothing but Ebay links. So I think this is a great spot for an ebay related selling issue. Also, at first glance, this topic has more views that at least half of the threads on the main page.
