  1. You assume my username refers to The Matrix? Why not Morpheus, God of Dreams? Tsk-tsk QA. As for free speech and the guidelines, here is an excerpt directly from the guidelines, emphasis mine, which I feel pertain to the accusatory statements he made: You explicitly agree, in using this web site or any service provided, that you shall not: (a) provide any Content or perform any conduct that may be unlawful, illegal, threatening, harmful, abusive, harassing, stalking, tortuous, defamatory, libelous, vulgar, obscene, offensive, objectionable, pornographic, designed to or does interfere or interrupt this web site or any service provided, infected with a virus or other destructive or deleterious programming routine, give rise to civil or criminal liability, or which may violate an applicable local, national or international law;
  2. Well, perhaps when you pay for the bandwidth and host your own chat boards, you get to make those decisions. However, since this particular chat board, hosted and paid for by NGC, deemed him ban-worthy, that's all that really matters. And if you don't agree with it, or like it, there are plenty of other chat rooms you can visit and delight with your prose. So there's that.
  3. Aren't they now researching, with promising results, using palladium and platinum in lithium ion batteries?
  4. The 95w silver eagle proof has to be around that difference going from a 69 to a 70.
  5. Nice job, however you might want to post a different example here rather than advertising for the other forum/NGC direct competitor.
  6. You provided the item type when you filled out the form with your submission. You think the person that opens the mail and enters the coins into the system is going to be able to tell the difference between a medium relief and a regular 1922? There's a reason a coin such as that has to pass muster with Mr. Lange. Please don't get me wrong. I am 100% pulling for you and I hope it's not a clerical error. I just wouldn't hold my breath. Best of luck, and I can't wait to see the final result.
  7. @reynoldsmc75: https://www.ngccoin.com/boards/topic/424598-new-ngc-tool-lets-submitters-confirm-delivery-of-their-submission/
  8. Definitely lean toward data entry error. Where is it in the grading process? Unless it has been graded already, I highly doubt anyone who would have touched it before it reaches the grading stage would be able to ascertain the difference between a regular1922 peace dollar and the rare 1922 medium relief.
  9. IMHO, strictly commemorative. Unlike all the other coins in this series, these were never meant for circulation. Plus, the "O" mint mark and the "CC" mint mark are privys, not mint marks. Finally, there are no plans to continue issuing these after this year. They are what they are. They commemorate the 100th anniversary of the last Morgan and the first peace dollar. I personally think they deserve their own short set.
  10. Might have a touch of environmental damage. I also see an old cleaning. Suggest NGC Conservation to bring out it's true beauty.
  11. Thanks Ali. I was just curious, considering the CC and Orleans version of the 2021 Morgan will be a privy and not a mint mark.
  12. PrAg is Poor-About Good. The numbers are on a scale of 1-70, with 1 being poor and 70 being perfect.
  13. Proves it is authentic. Maybe that is all the submitter wanted to do. Prove authenticity.
  14. I was fortunate enough to get two of the eagles (had a friend at work purchase one as well) but the prices they were getting right after release were too tempting not to take advantage of.
  15. I sincerely hope, as a commemorative, that they are not going to be included with the Morgan set. Same with the peace dollars.
  16. Honestly, that happens quite a bit lately, although I thought it had cleared up a bit, particularly with priority stuff. I would call the last known post office where it was scanned and ask them what's up.
  17. I collect the Perth Mint swans. I also have the pair of 2016 Liberty medals and the recent V75 75th Anniversary of the end of WW2. (Not the eagle).
  18. Not the best place to comparison price. I see them all over ebay for under $200. The Perth Mint Swans mint half that many proofs (2500) in any particular year and the prices are not "ridiculous". Take the 2016 version of the wedge tailed eagle proof coin. Mintage of 5,000: 2016 Wedge Tailed Eagle Proof I can purchase this coin, on ebay right now, graded PF70, for $113: eBay Listing So I think it all comes down to your personal preference. Edit to add: I see your coin is a reverse proof, but with mintage numbers the same as a proof I would imagine the value would be preffty close. There is a 2017 PF70 on ebay right now for $159.
  19. Perhaps even in 44 B.C there were less than honest folks ruining it for everyone. Meaning the coin is as old as the label says, but was faked back then. If they only knew who was coming in 44 years .
