  1. Oversize slab holder right here. For 13mm, 18mm or 23mm.
  2. Threads in the ASK NGC forum require a moderator to approve the question before it gets posted publicly. It can sometimes take a few days.
  3. Y'all just assume the op is seeing a three where the two is. For all we know, it might be the 4 where he sees the three. And if we are going to go that route, perhaps it's the one or the nine where this elusive three is hiding.
  4. Are you talking about the spot on the coin? If so, it can happen to any coin. Doesn't matter where you purchase it.
  5. 1. You don't need proofs to complete a MS set. They are two completely different strikes and sets, although there are sets that contain both. 2. There are probably 50 iterations of silver eagle registry sets on this site alone. MS, PF , burnished, complete, complete with special labels, etc. 3. In nearly all cases, especially if you are new, it is cheaper to purchase an already graded coin than to submit one yourself. 4. The 94 proof was for a long time considered the key date proof (other than the 1995 and perhaps a couple of the recent releases). The price is going to be higher. 5. Not sure where you are looking, but the 2021 PF70 proofs I see listed on ebay are predominately listed in the low to mid $200's. Keep in mind also, for the 2021, the hype (and therefore prices) are probably the highest they will be right now.
  6. There are probably 10's of thousands of MS69 silver eagles out there (depending on the year) to spend this much time worrying about it. I would just return it if possible. Since when are silver eagles shipped in bags?
  7. Good afternoon. Any idea when these will be mailed for those of us that chose that option? Thanks!
  8. They have been saying that about silver for 25 years.
  9. A note in general. This is the second photo of yours I have seen where it appears you are using some sort of pliers/clamp to hold the coin. While it is admirable that you are not using your bare hands to handle the coins, what you are doing is potentially worse. I would invest in some cotton gloves to handle your coins, especially until you have them identified. At the very least, only handle them around the rim of the coin, and never the obverse and reverse as I have seen in the photos.
  10. When folks are willing to learn, like you are, the help will continue to be forthcoming. It's the folks that come here thinking they have found a one of a kind coin worth millions, ask for help, get mad when the experts here give them the disappointing truth, and then they continue to argue. Those are the folks who will have a difficult time here. Oh, and don't let @VKurtB scare ya.
  11. Welcome to the board. I would start by sorting by denomination/like coins. And remember that any half dollars, quarters or dimes 1964 and before are 90% silver and are worth at least the melt value of silver. Once you have them sorted by what they are we can get a better understanding of your next steps.
  12. What makes you think Lancek isn't a paying customer?
  13. So "man" enough to spew your accusations all over the board, but not "man" enough to simply answer yes or no? Are you accusing PCGS of theft, yes or no?
  14. So let me get this straight. You are accusing PCGS of felony theft? Yes or no answer.
  15. It may be reserved for bulk submissions or with a particular vendor, i.e moderncoinmart. @LISA B may be able to answer your question.
  16. You could purchase the dollar separately, by itself, prior to the 3 coin set coming out. I'm wondering if you are seeing the mintage numbers of the dollar by itself, then the mintage numbers of the 3 coin set. There is also an uncirculated version of the dollar as well. (no mint mark).
  17. On mine, I actually have no idea. The invoice was originally for a no charge reholder. The invoice doesn't state what the charge was for.
  18. This is really getting tiresome. Good luck with your dime. Momma momma noun Save Word mom·ma less common spelling of MAMA 1: MOTHER 2slang : WIFE, WOMAN
  19. Hoghead did you call NGC? It's just really strange all these unexpected invoices show up at the same time. Like I said, I got the charge reversed with them.
