  1. I'm friends with Indra. His collection is unreal. Plus he has connections overseas and can get a lot of coins not available here in the U.S.
  2. Not a big deal, but I have always wondered about the numbering when ranking sets. Say you have someone if first place, someone in second place, and then say 3 people are tied for third place. After that, currently it shows the next set as #4, when in reality it is #6 due to the tie for third place. Like I said, not a big deal. More curious than anything.
  3. Now wait just a minute. How are we to believe anything you say, when just a few days ago you said you were leaving, yet here you are? Im Outta Here!!
  4. I will never, ever understand the need for "goodbye" posts. Just frigging go. Nobody cares.
  5. Since you are just stacking, then anything that is not a "brand name" will work. So avoid Engelhard, Johnson Mathey, Geiger Edelmatelle. These will all have much higher premiums than what are considered "generic" bars.
  6. I have found that 10 ounce bars are the best. When you start getting into 20 ounce, kilos, 50 or 100 ounce bars, they can be a little harder to get rid of if you need to sell. 10 ounce bars opens up the market to a lot more people. As for what kind of bars, are you collecting or stacking? Meaning is the collectability of a bar what is important to you, or are you strictly trying to amass weight?
  7. Not 1, but two threads. Albeit, the other thread is only 14 years old.
  8. Then why aren't they posting the mintage on their website? It only says product limit.
  9. I have never once been asked to provide a "shipping from" address when shipping a package. Informed Delivery is a great resource, but for incoming packages only. For outgoing, you still need to manually enter the tracking number. To the OP, hopefully your package arrives safely. The insurance you purchased is now moot, since you need your receipt to prove the amount.
  10. The thing is, everyone saw that 175,000 and assumed that is the mintage total, and it's not. That's just the number for the individual coins. Guarantee they come out with a 5 coin set, minted to demand.
  11. Please, please, please send it to Heritage and let us know how that works out for you. Narrator: Unfortunately, the cost of the postage was higher than the value of the coin.
  12. Good lord where in the heck do you keep that many coins lol.
  13. I would still reach out to them, as 2,000 coins is quite a bit. They might offer some sort of a discount if you are submitting all at once.
  14. No, the 2021 coins are not high relief. And no, I won't be purchasing. And I suggest that anyone purchasing them to flip them to do so quickly. Remember, the original 175,000 are not mintage limits. They are product limits. Meaning these could be released later as a full set, and who knows how many more that will add to the mintage.
  15. This can't be a serious post, can it? I mean, I can like Coca Cola, but that doesn't mean because I like to drink it that Coke should share the recipe with me. Or because I use an iPhone that Apple should share proprietary technology with me. And we PAY for those. Competition in the registry sets is free. We all play under the same rules. It's not like two of the exact same coin with the exact same grade are being pointed differently. And no one is forcing you to compete.
  16. Except for the fact that NGC recently updated their turnaround times to reflect the time between receiving the item in their facility and the time it is actually opened and entered into the system. Turnaround Times
  17. No, they shouldn't charge you more. Whatever was on your initial invoice is all you should be charged. Plus the fact that the new prices do not go into effect until June 15th.
