  1. Is it possible to get a second opinion? Or send it back to ask for a review? I'm really bummed about my AU details 1915 Barber Half dollar coming back whizzed....
  2. You seem like a very helpful person. Willing to listen and teach others all the wealth of knowledge you have about coins. Thanks for your input buddy!
  3. Because they are coming directly from the mint versus being shipped in by a consumer... I would think that coming directly from the mint they would have the potential to be graded slightly higher. Possibly even recieve a annotation of some sort?
  4. Not a bad question. No sir. My 4 year old daughter and wife are the only ones that know where its located but does not know the combination to it.
  5. I popped it open and its definitely on the coin. I can't tell if its raised or a scratch. It looks jagged, like a crack or split.
  6. Can I have coins that I purchase directly from the US Mint mailed directly to NGC for grading? If so, is the coin likely to recieve a higher grade?
  7. I bought the pride of two nations set directly from the US mint. I have never opened the capsules. Both coins were flawless and beautiful when I last looked at them about a month ago. I got them out of my safe yesterday and as I turned the coin at different angles this linear feature on the coin became apparent and it's most definitely on the coin. It almost looks like a scratch! Has anyone else reported this happening?! I have never removed the coin from the capsules and they stay in a locked safe. Die crack error maybe? Thanks for your input!
