  1. Thanks @Coinbuf for the offer. It is greatly appreciated my friend. I’m one of those types that likes the thrill of the hunt. All of my album coins have been found in change. Just something about sifting through my change and the feeling when you find something you don’t have. Guess I like to do things the hard way. I just finished my state quarter collection last year with a 2004 Iowa P. Only took me 22 years to complete it. Once again, thanks for the offer.
  2. Here is my 2009 album. Still a few empty holes in it too. I just found the Mariana Islands P coin a few weeks ago. I don’t CRH so it may take me forever to complete these albums. All change finds. Hope you guys all get well soon.
  3. You are not alone. Look at the lower mintage of these compared to the rest of the years. 2009 was the same. I am missing quite a few from these years as well.
  4. Good looking coin for a 64. Doesn’t seem like they cut those early Washingtons any slack.
  5. If there was a D on that coin you would have to take out a 2nd mortgage to pay for it. Great looking coin as usual brother.
  6. Nice off center strike. Very cool.
  7. Apparently the big wigs at the Mint didn't like it either. As for the asking price, I would give you the QA discount of $6.8 million. I’ll even throw in free shipping.
  8. I don’t get too many opportunities to post here, but I got this in the mail today.
  9. Nice job JP. All of that searching paid off. Congrats.
  10. I will admit that I don’t get into the journal section of the forum very much. I really don’t know why because I usually end up reading quite a bit when I do. I wanted to say congratulations again to Revenant on your award(s). After reading through this entry I realized the other accomplishments you have achieved with your Zimbabwe sets. Having both sets win awards at the same time is remarkable and shows the dedication you put into the hobby. It’s an inspiration to this collector. Congratulations again my friend and to the rest of you as well.
  11. To me it’s the quickest “at a glance” way to tell, barring any damage of course. It’s the same on nickels.
  12. I typically look for the notch at the bottom on the small S. The large S is basically flat all the way across.
  13. Nice. I see it on the license plate and on the left side of the clock tower. Very cool.
  14. If I did start collecting world coins it would probably be something like these German pieces.
  15. Thanks. Appreciate the information. I just think the bird designs are interesting. I’m not much of a world coin collector. I have these and a few Canadian change finds and a Polish Grozzy or Grozzly? I cant remember what it is. Thanks again my friend.
  16. Thanks. I was going to ask you about the 1978. Is that a type of proof coin? It has frosted devices and I wouldn’t think a circulation coin would have that. I don’t know anything about these coins. Just picked them up on a whim.
  17. Here’s a few German silver pieces for you @Mohawk. Picked these up while I was on my raw coin bender. Kind of forgot I had them.
  18. Those look really good Hog. Guess your new app does circle crop. Nice work brother.
  19. I thought that “COPY” only needed to be on exact replicas of circulating coinage. This design was never used on real coins. Is it still considered a counterfeit?
