  1. Exact opposite here. All Denver coinage. I have several nice Tuskegee Ds from fresh bank rolls but not a Philly coin in sight. By the time I see a Philly coin, it has been around the block a few times.
  2. Sorry, yes I was referring to mint rolls. I do however see more WCDs in circulation than Tuskegees. That has been my experience in my area anyway. I pay cash for just about everything and at the beginning of the year I was seeing a lot of the Tuskegee coins and then never saw another one. I still get WCDs in change and have more of those than the Tuskegees.
  3. Plus there were no rolls available for the WCD. I just thought of that as well.
  4. I actually did find the Tuskegee quarters from the same seller. Both of these are 69s as well. I guess we will be able to see the difference between the two 21 issues play out. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2021-P-Tuskegee-Airmen-Quarter-NGC-MS-69-Early-Releases-TOP-POP-Beauty-/275062838635?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0 https://www.ebay.com/itm/2021-D-Tuskegee-Airmen-Quarter-NGC-MS-69-Early-Releases-TOP-POP-Wow-/393789140283?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
  5. I thought the one and done factor might play a role in it. Doesn’t seem like the Tuskegee quarter is getting as much attention, but I haven't seen a MS69 or what it would or did go for.
  6. I have been watching these two WCD quarter auctions to see how high they will go. Both graded MS69 by NGC. Curious to see where they will top out. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2021-P-Washington-Crossing-Delaware-Quarter-NGC-MS-69-ER-Top-Pop-5-0-Rare-/393789120147?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0 https://www.ebay.com/itm/2021-D-Washington-Crossing-Delaware-Quarter-NGC-MS-69-ER-Top-Pop-8-0-Rare-/234332679493?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
  7. Looks like it would be a blazer in hand. Nice and clean. Probably cartwheels like a 10 year old gymnast on crack. Fine addition my brother.
  8. Congratulations on both the new coin and completion of the set. Quite a milestone to reach. Nice job
  9. I believe the term is used for both MS and proof coins at or above a grade of 65.
  10. Gem Adjectival description applied to Mint State and Proof-65 coins. It also is used for higher grades and as a generic term for a superb coin.

  12. Thank you kind Sir, 🙏🏻 and thank you for all the amazing work you do for me.
  13. You are very welcome and good luck with your coins and don’t be afraid to ask more questions.
  14. As far as the trustworthiness of your coin dealer, I can’t say. Even if these are true mint errors, which I am not saying they are or aren’t, I don’t think this coin is going to be worth more than face value in the condition it is in. Die chips are really not uncommon. Laminations, while interesting, won’t raise the value of this coin by much if at all. If it is all PMD then it is worth 1 cent. If you could post pics of the whole coin front and back, people can get a better look and give you more information and opinions. I don’t think this coin would be worth the trouble, but let some of the other members here have a look and they will give their opinions and advice.
  15. Welcome to the forum. I would say that it has taken a hit and displaced the metal or it is some sort of die chip. Leaning more towards the first from the looks of the first pic and the general condition of the coin. Likely PMD (Post Mint Damage). The head looks like it may be some type of lamination though. Not quite sure what is going on there.
  16. I did get this one back a few weeks ago from Joe. I think it came out great.
  17. Obverse luster is much better than the reverse which is what I’m assuming held it down. I’d say more shine than luster on the obverse. When I get away from my Jeffs, grade takes a back seat to eye appeal. Joe will work his magic on it. Thanks again my friend.
  18. Thanks CB but nope. That there is a 65FB. The seller claims its a DDO (Coneca DDO-004) and not recognized by NGC. I really don’t care if it is or not and I haven't looked it up. It’s actually quite PL with some nice color underneath. Pics make it look flat but you know how that goes.
  19. Nice pick up Hog. Merry Christmas to you indeed.
  20. Had a hell of a time trying to get this thing photographed. Still didn’t do very well with it. Got a handful of newps I will send to Joe after the holiday madness dies down.
  21. Nice find brother. They don’t have to be pretty to be cool.
  22. I’m not much of a world coin or error guy, but I’m sure someone with a little more knowledge on this subject will chime in.
  23. Major off center strike. I would assume that it has some value. Other denominations that have this are usually worth something. What that value is, I’m not sure. Nice piece though.
