  1. It’s definitely not as gold as the Sacagawea coins either just saying 😃
  2. My coin weighs 5.9 grams but it surly isn’t as gold as the one above! I thank you guys for the advice again and I will try and post a better picture soon it’s late tonight and I’ve had a long day. 😅 I forget who told me but I think its an experimental coin because there really isn’t any ridges on the edge just a few light ones.
  3. If I happen to have one of the 1999 state quarter that was struck on a golden planchette where on earth would I take it to get it certified I live near Tacoma Wa I will probably just keep it with the rest of my worthless coins, just asking in case it’s worth anything
  4. Thank you all very much and I doubt I’ll keep it just wasn’t sure why the letters would be missing the area is raised but not where the steps should be and the obverse appears raised in that area. Anyway I always appreciate you guys for the feedback
  5. What do you think happened to the cen on the reverse and the steps? I can see doubling but I always see stuff that isnt there
  6. The coin is double struck you can see a partial ghost on the obverse my question is should I keep this type of coin?
  7. I thought so, found in pocket alone after going to the store!
  8. I see die clashes also I’m wondering if it’s a thickening or a crazy ddd?
  9. It looks like someone tried to scrape the excess metal off or something
  10. I hope these are better to see the coin does look coated and it is blurry because it has so much metal on it. I didn’t think it was worth anything I was just asking if you know why it’s triple coated this way
  11. I feel ya. I thought coin collecting was an easy kinda hobby haha😅😅
