    Yea my main collection is all slabbed, but I do have a raw circulated album set as well. All from pocket change.

    I just know a few of the major markers like the void in the R and the missing mintmark. I know there are several other things to look for. I don’t roll hunt so I don’t really pay that much attention. Sounds like you know what to look for. I just collect regular Nickels.

    Nice to see you again. They both look like large dates. The bottom one is a little hard to see but it looks like the 9 is angled down as well.

    Another add to the Nickel pile. Just received this one today. Purchased from @lehigh96. I think this is the 4th or maybe 5th coin I have got from him. They are always nice coins. Sorry about the pics, but I did what I had to do to try to get the color to pop out.

    I have a 59 Jeff labeled as improperly annealed by NGC but it is a black beauty and it is completely black all over. It actually has a bit of shine to it. It’s pretty cool looking. Sorry I don’t have any pics of it at the moment.

    I noticed the ray coming off the D in dollar extends all the way to the body of the eagle on the new one. Rear claw got smaller and less detailed, and the mound/rock has been modified. My question would be is if that is strike weakness in the hair or is that how it is designed? Seems like a bit of a flat spot around ear and bangs. You would have thought they would try to improve that area on the new version since it was a problem on the older ones. Just a few observations.

    Thanks. The 50D has more rainbow around the rim than these pics show. These make it look mostly orange. The 61Dis a full step coin. It has 1 big full step. I want to say they refer to those as “ramp” coins.
