  1. I really don’t know either series well, but If you think that the half cent is nice enough and worthy of being in your collection, that is what I would go with. I would think it would be easier to find a nice merc than a nice half cent. On the other hand, I see nothing wrong with veering of the beaten path. I do it all the time. Keeps things from getting stale. Just my opinion. I wish you luck on your choice.
  2. I would ask yourself one question, and that is which coin of the two do you like better?
  3. They must have got the silver and bronze paint cans switched at the Mint.
  4. Looks like a blazer for sure. Nice one.
  5. Thanks JP. I appreciate that coming from another collector like yourself. You have done very well, and I’m glad you were able to get your 43/2. Congrats again my brother.
  6. Congratulations my friend. Its a great looking set.
  7. Merry Christmas to me. Seller pics cropped and combined.
  8. You don’t ever get a break do you brother. Hope they can get it going soon. Get the Christmas campfire going.
  9. Thanks buddy. Hope you and everyone else is having a good one. Merry Christmas.
  10. Thanks everyone. I appreciate that a lot. Those are just the seller pics, but I do have the coin in hand. Has some pretty good luster to it. It’s the only nickel I have with a bean. You don’t see very many MS nickels with a bean. Usually only proofs have them. It will be going to Joe after the holidays are over along with a few others. Thanks again everyone and Happy Holidays.
  11. I hope you can find one that fits into your collection and you are happy with. The good thing is that there have been a lot of these certified in a wide range of grades. I wish you the best of luck my friend.
  12. You might have to drop in grade to get the set finished. Guess it depends on how bad that empty slot will bother you. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1943-2-Jefferson-Nickel-Fine-to-Very-Fine-Grade-A-Nice-Error-Overdate-/164887216497?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
  13. Nice looking set J.P. Im sure you will fill those slots in no time. Then you can start on the war set with varieties.
  14. Ok here are the final results. Crossing the Delaware P - $480.00 / D - $501.02 Tuskegee P - $159.28 / D - $168.50 On a side note, here are a few more from the uncirculated set that sold tonight. 2021 D Sacagawea MS69 PL - $371.66 2021 P Lincoln Cent MS68 RD - $102.50 2021 D Lincoln Cent MS68 RD - $195.25
  15. Regardless, it will be fun to go through. If you find something of value, that will just be a bonus.
  16. Apparently there is a registry set just for these coins. 4 slots in the set. Both proofs and both circs. Not sure where they are getting their population numbers as there is 0 census info for any of them. Surely there are others submitting these.
  17. All of those coins above in the listings are from the uncirculated sets. It’s on the label.
  18. I would think I would see a bit of a mix here being almost smack in the middle but that is not the case.
