  1. Seems like you have the best shot at a 6 step coin with 40Ds and 43Ds. That’s what I feel like I have seen the most.
  2. Just found this little dandy and picked it up. Seller pics.
  3. I’m ok with it. You don’t have to pay that premium on most of them.
  4. Very nice piece. Unfortunately they won’t CAC business strikes unless it is a 43/2 or one of the others. There are only certain Jeffs that will get a bean. Mainly old proofs and a few others. If you go to the CAC website, they have a list of Jeffs that qualify. Actually, here are the ones that qualify directly from the CAC website.
  5. Nothing super special, but I have always liked these reverse proof Jeffs. You want to talk rare labels? Try finding one of these standard browns. Label pop of 3.
  6. Glad to hear you are out n about again. Sorry to hear your first adventure was Walmart. Hope your Dansco will upgrade.
  7. Not that I have ever seen. Mine is a paperback. I never really looked that hard though.
  8. It is a big set for sure. You are a lot more ambitious than me. I quit at 1964. It will be an awesome set when you get it done. Hope you have a lot of room.
  9. Moving right along with the set. Very nice.👍
  10. Jefferson Nickels ~ The Jefferson Nickel Analyst by Bernard A. Nagengast This is THE book to have if you are into Jefferson Nickels.
  11. I would say most likely it was from a grease filled die. Grease will collect in some recessed areas of the die and will prevent that spot from striking up properly.
  12. I ended up getting a price list in one of the albums I bought. I was shocked to see what the prices used to be as opposed to what they are being sold for now. The mark ups are ridiculous.
  13. That is one of the things that draws me to nickels. They can take on so many different looks.
  14. I’ll bet in the right light it’s a looker. Thanks for posting it.
  15. If they all ended up looking like that 54, it wouldn’t hurt my feelings any. Guess it all depends on what you like.
  16. Looks like you have some nice pieces in the random section as well. The double eye, 43/2 and large S. Well done 👍
  17. Very nice TJ. You are a lot farther along than me for sure. That 54P looks like a doozie of a toner.
