    Seems like you have the best shot at a 6 step coin with 40Ds and 43Ds. That’s what I feel like I have seen the most.

    Very nice piece. Unfortunately they won’t CAC business strikes unless it is a 43/2 or one of the others. There are only certain Jeffs that will get a bean. Mainly old proofs and a few others. If you go to the CAC website, they have a list of Jeffs that qualify. Actually, here are the ones that qualify directly from the CAC website.

    Nothing super special, but I have always liked these reverse proof Jeffs. You want to talk rare labels? Try finding one of these standard browns. Label pop of 3.

    It is a big set for sure. You are a lot more ambitious than me. I quit at 1964. It will be an awesome set when you get it done. Hope you have a lot of room.

    I would say most likely it was from a grease filled die. Grease will collect in some recessed areas of the die and will prevent that spot from striking up properly.

    I ended up getting a price list in one of the albums I bought. I was shocked to see what the prices used to be as opposed to what they are being sold for now. The mark ups are ridiculous.
