  1. Hello, Below are pictures of a 1968 S DDO penny and I can find the error listed in the Cherrypickers guide, but it is not listed as a recognized error on NGC or other grading companies. As you can see it is not in great condition, especially the reverse. I would appreciate any thoughts if it is a true DDO or just deterioration and what is the best way to determine value if any. Thanks, Susan
  2. I’ve tried everything to cut the glare and still be able to see the coin, but nothing is working. I am bringing itto a friend who is a photographer, maybe she can get a better picture. Thanks for the input so far.
  3. I have a red small date 1982 zinc penny that looks like it has a DDR error. The only reference to a 1982 DDR I can find is for a brown. I don't know how to tell if it is real or if these markings were made in some other way? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Susan
  4. Hello! I have what I think is a Washington Crossing the Delaware die chip error coin. But unlike the ones that have a die chip on his hat this is at the bottom, so I was hoping to get input on if this is a die chip error. Thanks!
  5. Thought on if this is a low grade 1969s DDO with a floating roof, or just a low grade 1969s? Thanks!
  6. I have three 1982-D 3.1g Pennies. Two I am pretty confident are large date - but the middle one looks like it could possibly be small date. Thanks
  7. Has anyone ever seen this type of error and knows if it is a real coin or a fake? It has a high edge on obverse and reverse. The coin is thicker than the other 1902s I have and only weighs 2.875g. The colors are bright and dark copper and black. Thanks
  8. Thanks! Just disappointed and very true we all should look as good 😀
  9. Thank you all for your input. I’m finally back home and was able to use my microscope. You are all 100% correct, it is not CC. But I am disappointed, that these marks are damage.
  10. The CC on the back is very faint, I can’t get a good picture of it.
  11. Thank you for responding. I added two more pictures. The coin is dark and it is very difficult to get sharp photos of the error. If you look at the earlobe, chin and neck, I can’t tell if the die rotated those are curls from the hair or if the “curls” and parts of the wings and arrows from the back. It could be a coin that was pressed with another coin but the marks don’t seem to break through the lines of her face.
  12. I am hoping someone could help identify the error and the possible value it may give to this 1882-CC Morgan Silver Dollar. I have researched Overstruck, Die Clash, Rotated Die Clash, Rotated Double struck, and more. The definitions and the available pictures are confusing. The value opinions go from worth nothing to a very valuable coin. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
