  1. First Sir thank you for your service to our country. As to the Registry set I do have one PCGS token in one of my custom sets. I'm not looking to win any prizes. My main set very rare of 19 tokens is all NGC. I personally do not this completion between collectors. My set is 223 years old and complete. Nineteen of the most beautiful tokens made by Peter Kempson. I learned more history from those19 than any other token. The research. Infantile I couldn't do it but it took five years inevitably there. I agree it your competing for an award your worthwhile befall NGC. That's simple enough. That's for sharing your opinion. Mike

  2. Hi Mike here. I collect coins from the Philippines. The 1945 D  had two D D. One was the mint mark. The second was the complete reverse of the coin. Worse than the 55 cent. I ordered two rolls from a company. I liked the history behind them. Someone at the company didn't do there homework. When I opened the roll I could not believe my eyes. I sent one to the ANA. They were just as shocked as I was. No one had seen these.. One night I was watching two on Heritage House auctions. Someone herd of them. One sold for over four thousand and the other 3600.00. The one that sold for four thousand was a MS 67 so we're mine. The roll. I found one on eBay selling for eight thousand. The same grade. When I called Heritage House they said with mine there are less than thirty left. I'm still debating to sell now or later. By the way the employee was tired for not checking the rolls. There great coins. Thanks for those pictures and the journal. Mike

  3. I was watching Rick Tomaska. I don't buy I watch for numbers. The truth is. In black and white .PCGS  is very liberal with there grading. I could not believe those graded 70 compared to NGC.you want a true grade for your coin NGC. The percentages are unbelievable were not talking thirty more were talking hundreds more. That's why collectors send there coins to P.C.G. S. I was shocked.. The fact that Rick does not point that out is obvious. Just look. I'm sure you will see what a see. They grade higher. I have seen it with so many coins. When I send a coin to N.G.C I don't want the grade questioned later. First it doesn't make sense to argue them. You have the option of sending it in as many times as you like. Sometimes it will change. Most of the the time no. This is only what I have seen. Watch one night and when he holds up a sheet look at P.C.G S. And N.G.C.

  4. Then my friend if you look at my tokens. And read what in-store and you like detail. Then you might like these. The prices go from forty dollars and I have seen thousands. One sold from the Conder National Series MS 61 for twenty five thousand.. There detail is remarkable some of the die winners must of spent weeks making them. Take a look it can't hurt. Lots of luck on whatever you decide. Thanks. Mike

  5. Hello my friend long time. I have been in and out of hospitals. Recovering from a broken hip. I hope your doing fine. Now you looked at my Conder tokens. Those pictures are taken with my phone. I hold the token up to the picture of the phone. If it's not accurate I dump it. Now NGC grades these. When it says red brown the picture must be the same as the token. Some are dark. Sure I could alternate it. But why.? Allot of people.do it. If I was to send my set to an auction house along with the pictures there would be no trouble. NGC says proof like. That picture better show it. If it says red it better be read. Some tokens I have taken 10 to 15 pictures till they match. I tell people all the time do not alter your pictures. Your fooling yourself and collector's. Not right. You will get caught. I go thru eBay and I tell the sellers sorry there are no orange tokens. They make them better than they were i was glad to see your name up there. You will do fine. Thanks for writing Mike.

Today I received back those two moon mission coins, the Kennedy half dollar and the 50th anniversary half dollar coins I sent back to NGC with crossed labels. All is good now. The friendly person on the phone recognized the original problem and told me what to do. It happened just as she said and I am a happy camper. Furthermore, this was at no expense to me. NGC sent a credit to my credit card for postage back to Florida.

  6. I don't care were they grade they are world coins that they will find in no time. It doesn't hurt. I do have one problem . They have two many things going on at one time and we can't keep up. I wish they went back to brown labels when I broke into coins my mentor always said you buy the coin not the label. To many labels and that just   retailers ending in the twenty dollars. If someone wants to buy your coin there n not going to say what a beautiful label. They will say what a beautiful coin. And he's right. Change the core leave the label alone. Mike

  7. I didn't know as I said beore. Then I found a 2013 ten Euro of Notre Dame in my safe. The cook or pictures to look at were not visible. Then I took pictures and to see the did very color in the stained glass was unbelivable. So I have come a long way with your journal and my pictures you can't see till you take a picture. Thanks.

  8. I get mine from the Auction h ok we or the catalog. Even tokens. I get a letter or a card. I won a Newman Hard Times token with his label plus a card. If you don't get one call. Like I said I new who made this token of Queen Victoria. Three months but I got all the info faxed to me. Sent it to NGC the said send it back they had everything in the label . Tues out bronze MS 64 found known. Yes if you win it demand a letter or a  2×2 with the date the lot page on the c catalog and all info. We deserve it.

  9. I keep forgetting to tell you this. Now I grade my coins when I send them in. I keep the last page and after two weeks of study I have a 93% success rate. I have studied your coin. Take the age for one. You would not expect a coin that old to look this good.when I saw a MS 62 I said no. I think it should be a 64. I have seen today's coins in worse shape graded higher. It's a shame I checked prices on the net at auctions and found one in a MS 63 going for 600.00. You're will not command that. You need the best grade you should have. That coins deserves a MS 64. Just wanted you to know. Mine is up but nothing as beautiful and three hundred years later. It has a black spot but inside no scratches nothing. We will see. Enjoy it. Mike

  10. I'm sorry to here that. I have only heard once before. But any coin especially one that old with a die crack should be checked for travel. These baggage holder even the delivery service here just abuse the boxes they throw them to the back of the truck then all over the truck when looking for it. Maybe the pressure had something to do with it.  It could of been a deep crack and anything would of broke it in two. I would have it checked before I left the country. That's to bad. Maybe another one will show up. I hope.so. Mike
