If someone believes a person is a 'troll' and is intentionally interfering in the thread, flow of information or is using disparaging language towards a fellow member - report them. There is a place in the upper right corner to 'Report Post'. If a person has enough 'Reports' the Mods sooner or later will get the hint. Placing a person on 'Ignore' is meaningless as they just keep coming back. A Mod placing a 'Block' on their IP address usually is a permanent cure. But to be bragging as to how many people one has placed on ignore - how does that look to a new comer? One, if he/she is truly interested in furthering this hobby should consider their approach to the actions of this forum. With that I will leave you with an age old internet saying: "Please don't feed the trolls'.

Possibly, but it only adds variety to the discussions. One should know, by the title, which thread may, or may not be, of interest. The reason for the absence of flavor here, on this forum, is structure. There are many threads pertaining to US coins yet only two are up front for your choice. Multiple choices often bring multiple readers.

I don’t know if the threads still exist but you can search for Norweb in the 2003 area. That was one set anyway. A forum member was trying to cross a Norweb NGC and it crosses without the attribution. The member made it a crusade and people took sides, etc. It escalated and got out of hand. There were several rounds similar to that and people pushing the boundary, even with personal attacks on D H For those who don’t know, D H username are the time was HomeRunHall but the HRH came to also be used as “his royal highness”.
