i Just added my 2009 ER MS 70 SAE WOW!! What a great coin I just added to my registry. My MS 70 ER SAE came today, and I could not be more thrilled than I am right now. With just over 8300 of these in population, compared to over 100,000 of the 69's....I predict this to be a very key part of the SAE collection. WOW!!

The US MINT came thru! Received my 2009 Ultra High Relief Double Eagle Gold Coin BOOK? today. With all the problems the mint was having, I expected something very nice. Surprise the book is about a third of the size I was looking forward to and about 50 pages short. What I was expecting was something like 100 Greatest U.S. Coins, a book that DLC Auctions sent me to make up for a coin I ordered and didn't receive, plus the money I had paid.

Watch out for scams Hey, I have been trying to find a 2005 Roosevelt Dime and a 2005 Kennedy Half (Both Clad and PF70). Checked out many places online and no luck. eBay Bucks

I received an invitation to get a 2% rebate on purchases, so I registered! This appears to be a beta test of a new program called eBay Bucks and so far, everything I have looked at shows a 2% rebate with the usual conditions, PayPal, paid quarterly, use it on eBay etc. Now, I wonder if I can combine my tiny BigCrumbs rebate along with eBay bucks I can save on every buy! NGC TURN AROUND TIMES

In by 9 out by 5? Hello all! I just got the shipping notice from NGC on my last submission. Turn around times are phenomenal. My 1959 proof set did well. A 1986 Statue of Liberty half, made PF 70 UC. I paid 6 bucks for it raw! Both Abes took a 70. I will have them before a reputable dealer gets mine back to me since 2-12. So much for presales. I also got straight PF 69s on the Prezzies. Finished my Ikes today

Can anybody remember actually carrying those things in your pocket? I can. Glad the pants to my Leisure Suit didn't fall down. I got the last coin I needed to complete my Proof 69 Ike set today. I won a 1977-S PR69DCAM for $10.10 on eBay, which I thought was a great deal for a PCGS-graded coin. One thing that surprised me when I was scouring for coins to complete this set, is how few NGC-graded Ikes were out there for sale. The number of PCGS-graded Ikes available just swamps them. My "Mental Health Day"

...and anxiety related to "coin waiting" Greetings folks!! I am curious about what I have read .... Hi to all, This past Christmas, my son gave me a really good book. I have read it front to back and referenced it several times. The name of the book is "HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES MINT AND ITS COINAGE" by David W. Lange. I believe he bought it at Borders. I have collected Lincoln cents from the time I was six years old. Thoughts on the first quarter of 2009 As the year 2009 closes its first quarter, we find the markets trending down at a slower descent, gold ascending once again to $1000 an ounce, and the rare coin market hot as ever. A Strange Find

got what I deserved I have a funny story to relate of something that happened to me recently. I am a full fledged coin nut..I always check my change and recently I checked some change that wasn't even mine. An impossible dream? Hi everyone! I have been so busy with looking for a new place to live, I have neglected my latest purchases a bit. My original goal was to make it to 500th ranking in the NGC Registry. My other was to acquire the MS 69, 2008/07 Silver Eagle. My third(and actual prority)was to add the 1995 W Silver proof to complete my original set(PF 69). Thankfully I have accomplished my goal for the year! I like Ike!

Sure, he ain't Brad Pitt, but I wouldn't call them ugly... I have started to focus on assembling an Ike Proof collection. While Ikes graded 70 are few and far between (not to mention expensive), a respectable full set of PF69s can be had at a reasonable cost. Another plus is that ungraded proofs can also be had for a reasonable cost, so I will likely try my luck on submitting some respectable candidates for grading, and who knows, maybe get a 70.
