Catalog Description Oversight?

Do your homework... In my last journal entry, I wrote about the two half dimes I'll soon be receiving from the latest Heritage auction. Jefferson Nickels 1938-Date

Trying to fill the Littleton Coin Nickel Albums (Volume 1 1938-1975; Volume 2 1976-2006; Volume 3 2007-Date). While I am working on collecting my Lincoln Memorial cent collection, I decided to also work on my nickel collection. My goal right now is to obtain one coin of each mint for each year. A pause and a break from the world of coins

Tonight 52 years flashed before my eyes. Greetings once again all; I wanted to stray off the main course here and take a moment to reflect. I was fortunate tonight to view the ISS (International Space Station) fly overhead not once but twice. morgan dollar set

new goal in my quest to finish this set I picked this coin up recently and when i did i decided to focus on the Morgans as separate date sets, each set being a different Mint. I am doing this because 1. I already started the sets as a date set, only buying Philly mints, and 2. it will help keep me focused rather than scattered all around. I fully accept that i will never own the 1895 Pf, but I am most worried about the 1894 P. It will take some patience and i may have to put a hold on buying

SUSAN B. ANTHONY'S UPDATE

1980-P MS68 Just bought this coin at a really, really good price, hopefully I can add it to my son's set by next weekend. It should move the set up to #3, if I can get one more upgrade I won't have the overall #1, but I will have the #1 NGC only set!! That was my only goal. Good luck in your collecting adventured. New Coins ? New Collecting Goals

Success is an awesome feeling! Pay day is just about 2 weeks away and that means it?s time to look back at how I did and look forward to what I want to accomplish in my 2011-2012 collecting year. The numbers surprised me this year. I spent less and got more than I had anticipated. ASE SF should it be added to the ASE West Point coins in a collections of Anniversary PF & MS ASE? Yesterday I received my PF 70 2011 25th Anniversary American Silver Eagle and my collection is almost done. NGC STRIKES AGAIN!

NGC Help me! (and Jerica did!) Good Day All, There has been a little trash talk (journal entries) lately about NGC. I am not one of those people doing that. I have been having many issues with trying to load new coins over the past week. I went to add a 2011D Roosevelt dime in one of my sets and it said coin was invalid for slot. AT or NT? what do you guys think? AT or NT? i picked this up today. Coin shop near me, guy picked up a whole bunch of GEM ASE's different dates. This one stood out the most. Splain Somefin To Me Friends, I know some of you are very experienced in the ways of NGC and can provide a logical explanation for the following. I received a Silver Jefferson Nickel back from NGC graded UNC Details due to a PLANCHET FLAW on the reverse. I still cant believe my eyes In a recent journal, I explained how to turn a gun safe in coin safe. With over 500 certified coins , junk silver rounds, Toned silver coins, and Solid oak shelves and copper pennies. I really dont know how it happened. I originally bought a bullion version of the 5 oz America The Beautiful when it first came out. I put the on the top shelf inside my safe and closed it up. 1st week of vacation

My first NCS submission results...

Perhaps my grading skills are improving. One month almost to the day after journaling about sending in my first submission my 2 little Roosie's are ready to come home! Either my grading skills are improving or as the saying goes - "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then".
