The top is finally within reach Hi everyone. Tonight I added 3 new additions to my 1959-Present Lincoln Memorial Business Strike Registry set and it finally puts the goal of #1 within reach. I added a 1964D MS67RD, 1982D Large Date Zinc MS68RD and a 1982D Small Date Zinc MS68RD Lincolns to my set. Thanks Mike for allowing me to add these 3 new beauties to my set. My next big purchase which if I find for the right price will be the 1983 DDR MS68RD Lincoln. With that purchase alone it would

My coins made it to quality control! I've been checking almost every day and now they are in quality control. Unfortunately, the grades aren't up yet. The first is a 10 cent piece from 1953 Spain. This coin was minted during a historically interesting period in Spain, and I hope to write some details in the coin description very soon. vist to the Pawn Shop. 1st off got my 2011 Unc ASE from the mint. See I have a subsription so I get a Number of sets thoughtout the yr and this is my last from the mint this year. Well then I did some running around cause friday is payday and it always good on payday, well I stopped at the local pawnshop and notice they had 2 proof ASE 2006 I known I had this coin but didnt have the box or the little note they put in with it just the coin and case so I ask the price and it was in the ball park

Will the 2011-P Gettysburg Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin come error free unlike the Mount Hood

Returned my Mount Hood and ordered the 2011-P Gettysburg Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin Just order the 2011-P Gettysburg Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin. I am hoping that it will come nick free. My last order (twice), from the US Mint, Mount Hood 5 ounce silver coin had nicks on them. Returned one and using the money for it to buy the Gettysburg coin. I decided to not send my 2010 to collection to NGC because of the flaw Mount Hood. So I will search and buy, when I get the funds, NGC

Send Them Out to be Certified, or Keep-em OGP?

Just received a bunch of 2011-W Burnished Silver Eagles. My dilema: Just in, Fresh from the Mint, 10 Burnished Silver Eagles, pretty and shiney, not a mark on any of them (except for the "W"). They are (almost)sure to each grade a 70, along with the Early Release distinction. What is the dilema? With a Unit cost from the Mint at $60.45(x10) plus the $4.95(.495 per coin) S/H. Sending them to NGC will cost about another average $18 per coin for Grading and Round-Trip S/H/I. This will give m

1998 doubled Kennedy "D" A short time after showing my discovery of the Kennedy with three extra "D" strikes between the 9 and 9 and doubling of the date and doubling of "IN GOD WE TRUST" the half dollar was switched with a clean coin. picked up a new one for my Philly set I went to visit my local coin dealer with whom i have been doing business since day one. He had a 1901 P Morgan dollar on his shelf that i had to have. Cannot remember the last time this happened

Interesting Day

Ups and Downs My commute home took about an hour and a half longer than normal, due to an accident downtown. But on the bright side, I found a great radar $1 note at work. The serial number is E07077070E. It's seen its share of use, but overall, it isn't too bad. Not only is it a fun find, but my wife and I were married July 7, 2007, so it's sort of like a wedding note. Tomorrow, I hope to receive the 1965 and 1966 SMS Proofs that I ordered on Saturday. Don't believe it I had been called to let me know that the 3 silver eagle holders I had been waiting for were on their way. I had even sent photos of the 3 I was in need of. Now this is a very reputable coin supplier, I guess you know the rest of the story. They came today and yep you are right, they all were WRONG!!!! I know silver eagles are only worth what the particular day brings, but getting a complete set of different labels is a challenge and, fun.
