  1. I decided to go back to the bank in hopes of finding some more Home rolled MS nickels like the one below. Well they had 3 more rolls of the same type older looking wrappers. Where I live is a big retirement area and many times people pass on and there kids clean house and roll up all the change in the house not knowing that some of the change was kept for a reason. there are always estate sales in the paper but most of the time all the good stuff is gone before you get there. So if the bank has the older rolls I always grab them in hopes of finding some keepers and FS. This is todays finds

I keep reading in posts and online about a Photograde App. I found it in the App store on my iphone. After downloading it, it appears it only can be used for coins from China. Does anyone know where I can get this app so I can use it for US coins?

So does that mean it only works on fake coins???

I saw a video the other day about the Sacagawea coin, specifically the 2000 coins, which said there were several versions of that coin minted. One version was the Cherrios Dollar which went out in, of course, Cheerios boxes. Supposedly there were a few other versions with different coloring, all golden but of different hues and materials. I tried to look up the video I watched but there were quite a few of them on the subject on YouTube.

They claim the Cheerios Dollar is worth $5k

Ya the experimental rinse to keep the coins looking nice. They had a hard time keeping the color Gold looking. This one turned Brown like poop and always looks the same LoL

  4. I have been shopping online the last few days for some more MS nickels. Today I go to the bank for my weekly roll pickup and I find this. I think it is nicer than most of the MS 65 PCGS or NGC Nickels I have been looking at  Heritage and GC it has two or three bag marks and one small stain by the G in God but all in all a really nice coin for a 21 year old bank roll coin. Oh one more thing it has FS

I am starting to see Washington Crossing quarters in significant number. All P, all almost mark free. The higher relief on the portrait side is far superior to that used in the 1990’s.

Yes most of the rolls I have been getting are 2021 and they are nice. Not perfect but MS 63 or + and the strike is nice for a P I cant wait to see a D coin.

If your point is that TPG's do not grade Morgan dollars at these high grades with the same frequency as ASE's that would be correct.

Yes that was the intent jokingly. My E-Mail blows up with all the different dealers trying to sell all the MS ASE,s .First strike ASE's,Type 1 and Type 2, Signed by this guy and that girl P.S and W coins It is amazing what they can think of to oversell a coin. I am sure there are hundreds of Morgan's out there that are wonderful and have never seen the streets.
