  1. Very nice coins. He does an excellent job. Would love to have some of mine professionally photographed one of these days. Get someone good like that you can show the true beauty of the coins. I got a small handful in my collection that are truly stunning. I cant seem to capture it in the photos I take.
  2. Why would you post it in the market place for thousands of dollars before you knew you didnt have anything? Thats why everyone is saying fraud and scammer. If someone came to you that same day would you take the money? Or would you tell them, "I gotta make sure thats what it is first." I would hope you would do the right thing. The only way you are going to believe the coin is a common 50 cent coin is to submit it. Some of the best numismatic experts in the world have told you its a common coin. You can clearly see the copper core plain as day in the picture you posted. Send it in to NGC and get it certified. I actually dont think you would believe them if they told you it wasnt silver neither.
  3. I hope someone who dosent know any better dont get crooked by this. It saddens me there are people out there like this trying to take advantage of people. I blame these get rich quick youtube videos for people thats in denial on coins like this one. Even though he can see the copper in the rim he still believes its silver. Or hopes the one hes trying to crook does. I have zero respect for people like this if he really does know. If he dosent after some of the most experienced numismatist in world have tried to convince him differently then I dont know what else will. Just hope noone gets crooked off this common 50 cent coin.
  4. What does me is trying to sell it for $13,700. Get someone who dosent know anything about coins could actually buy into that BS. May post it somewhere else and take advantage of someone. Some older person,or anyone as far as that goes, wanting to invest in rare coins. May actually think its the real deal. I sure hope he has a concience.
  5. Ive been praying for you also my friend. Hope everything goes well for you. Cancer has been very hard on our family. I know what kind of time your going through from loved ones who have been battling it. Hang in there.
  6. The scratches and marks are on the plastic. The medal is flawless. One of my favorite bullion pieces I have. Very stunning piece.
  7. I cant understand why the FBI or some other orginization dont go after these fake websites and shut them down. Its like they wont even try.
  8. I like getting mine out and admiring them quite often. I enjoy looking at them. When they are all out and your looking through them it makes you realized what you accomplished to get them. That always made feel good. Also feels good to know ill have something to pass on to my kids and grandkids if these boys will hurry and give me some.
  9. Those are good boxes. I have a few that I keep my certified coins in. They are made well and are a great value.
  10. Thats a pretty neat die clash.
  11. Congrats on your accomplishment Mr Bill. Thats quite a feat. Very nice collection my friend.
  12. Someone may have even took a punch to the coin. Ive seen coins people take and punch letters on after it left the mint for whatever reason.
  13. Im not usually one to say anything but Im calling BS. That many rare coins and bought them for 50 cents a piece. Rolls and pages full of them. Then asked to show proof and they just happen to be stashed a few states away where cant just get a picture of them. If I had luck that good Id play the powerball and hit it 10 times in a row. Just one of those 2000 s close AM cents are very doubtful. Then to have 50 of them that someone sold for 50 cents a piece. Its just hard for me to believe. Probably hard for anyone else on this forum to believe also. Even all the other CAMs and Wams that are a little more common but still semi rare. Id believe someone having a couple or something like that. But to have rolls and pages full is beyond belief for me. Youd have a better chance proving to me that bigfoot is real.
  14. I do to. I always enjoy seeing the coins you post. You got one of the sweetest collections Ive seen.
  15. I got 7 graded in mint state. Got several in coin flips in various conditions. Mostly circulated. Id like to get some more. I really like the buffalo nickels. Id love to complete a set of them but it be a very hard set to try for. So I just buy random dates as I get the chance to.
  16. Very nice. Beautifully toned and lusterous. Nice additions.
  17. I agree with Mike. NGC even has a disclaimer mentioning milk spots.
  18. Prayers for Mr Lange. Wishing the best for him and his family.
  19. Heres one I found on Ebay. This is one that has one of our local towns on it. My wife works here and we do all our business here. I had to have it soon as I saw it.
