  2. You should gte a hold of @VKurtB he is somewhat an expert with the corona chrome...... by the way nice camera we use them all of the time here to take pictures for our identity management system............. "we know who you are!" hahahahha
  3. like @Sandon said this would be nothing more that melt value due to its harsh cleaning.
  4. I think this may be an N3 rartiry 2 with the green on it it could have been harshly cleaned looking at the color of the copper. That Green could be PVC sludge or environmental damage it is hard to tell without having it in hand.
  5. if it is real 100€ is a great price, about half of market value
  6. the @Fenntucky Mike is correct it is a die chip in the S the other is just die deterioration
  7. that is not a die clash... dont waste your money qon getting it graded it is a common wheat cent. 99% of the wheat cent series are not worth getting slabbed with your own money.
  8. Same reason that Doctor should not work on their family members then ten to take things a little lightly. I do as well and i think they are an even match with the big 2 grading companies. very easy to handle and easy to store.
  9. WOW @Coinbuf dude you went real old school with that slab. i used to have a bunch of those with walkers in them. the guy that made that company used to live down the road from me when i was growing up in Longwood Florida, then to the Sanford Lake Monroe area. i liked the slab but i think he pretty much got shafted by the big guys.
  10. these are the types of people you want to nail upside down by their scrotum ..............just say'n ....... of course if you catch'em you can always toss them in the Hog pin and no one will ever find them again.
  11. Like @Sandon said it looks to be a struck through. probably some sort of cloth got caught in the press after cleaning. or something. The finding of true error coins rarely comes from circulation finds.
  12. looks a little off center to me that could lead to the wider rim on the liberty side. and @Hoghead515 is correct on the die chip
  13. looks like it was struck with a chisel or some other blunt object. defiantly not a Mint error.
  14. yes sir looks like a sand blaster hit it. dont send it in put it in a flip or a folder
  15. If you are just looking to get it slabbed then yes it is a candidate. however if you are looking to get an actual grade on it you should pass. The coin will defiantly get a details grade or Net grade if you send it in. anywhere from 35 - 45 in the Fine categories. just like the guys said.
  16. like @ldhair said the first 2 are just something someone puit together the third is a U.S. Proof Set from '68 and the last are the Mint set
  17. If you like fishing you could always melt it down for a sinker.. It isnt worth anything more than melt.
  18. thats not a die crack that is an injury to your cent by something hitting it.
  19. of course it will.. I think i would fill in some of my holes............
  20. yeah right like Philly and San Francisco were immune to Covid....... I thhink if you look at the record the SAEs have been produced at alternate mints most of the years for the bullion coins
  21. You 1981 SBA is a type T2 clear "S" variety The type "1" or sometimes called a filled "S" or Blob "S" basically if you can see the clear distinct sides of the S when you look at it it is a Type 2
  22. I'm a second to the @Coinbuf Andy is one of the foremost experts on small change. 1, 2, 3, 5 Cent coins. as for ungraded Northeast is good. Coast to Coast and or L&C have all been really good for me.
