Friends,

 As of first ---- 15 years ago or so we had a FRIENDS list available on our member home page.  A few years ago the FRIENDS were changed to FOLLOWERS by the NGC group. 

 Now there is not even a followers list on our home page.  Is this Followers list coming back?? Seems the club is moving more and more towards unsocial practices.

Use to be a member could post their journal from their private member page. Now they have to go to Chat Boards to do so. I don't mind it but I know that many members do not use the chat boards. Will there be a link later to post journals from the member page?

It's been a long 4 days

Snowed in since Sunday Friends, There is nothing worse to me than being stuck at the house. I have checked the journals to read something new once every 3-4 hours, so yes I guess I am very caught up with all of the journals. Tuesday had a little excitement as 15 of the neighbors kids and my 2 ripped through the 32 acres of snowy fields on 4 wheelers with wheel barrow bodies tied to the rears for sleds. The KING is for sale

A coin I have wanted since my beginnings as a collector. Friends and Society; Well Sunday is my day of rest and a peaceful day to do all the research I need to make the greatest purchase this Saturday that I could imagine. ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER DOLLAR

Well not another dollar but 7 more dollars. Friends and Society, Another back breaking day at work but yep "it's payday". Cashed my check and went home to a little box at the foot of the stairs that goes to my office. Yep address sent from Bammer, the box I have been wanting for a while. Howdy to all

Just left Morgan Heaven Friends, Sitting around checking out Chat boards. Clicked on U S coins and found a thread on Morgan Dollars (WOW!!!). The thread surely inspires a coin nut (like me) to run out and purchase at least one for their collection. You guys sure have some great pics. Recieved my 1973 MS65 Eisenhower today

If you are the person responsible for getting this coin graded send me a shout. Friends, I have started a new series of Eisenhower Dollars - MS. I will add pictures later but the 1973 MS65 will be a challenge due to the fact that the owner must have ate fried chicken before slipping his coins into the poly-slips for grading.   Dude!!! TO SELL OR NOT

Get her graded ,,,or sell her Friends and society, Well I haven't been too journalistic lately due to other hobbies. I have been selling coins on the side to upgrade later. I sold a 1894-O graded by some off grading company (USCG) that was MS64, I figured it would hit AU50. I have thought quite a few times that I wished I got her graded before I sold her. SOCIETY CHANGES

WOW I hope we don't change the format after we get use to this one! Society and friends, I threw a couple Peace Dollars together to start a new set last month but didn't check out the new site until today after selling 2 Morgans. I have started a A S E set which I also added a couple spots. Coin Shots are GREAT

Keep it up and you will all be online photography specialist. A great HELO to all, I have been quite busy working and not much time to hit the computer. My admiration goes out to those that are sending the great coin shots. I guess about 1 year ago I needed to see everyones coins (since I cuold not afford any), and I will say that the club as a whole has done a wonderful job at perfecting and submitting thier coin pics with thier journals. Silver Eagles are nesting in my office

14 MS69 eggs hatched tonight Friends, While I don't have the finances to purchase older MS graded dollars I have been watching for the Silver Eagles. Most MS69s are going for $25 so I grabed a few more. I guess I have 50% of the set and may be able to finish it out this year. It is nice to purchase so many graded coins at the same time and not knock on the poor house door. I just purchased them tonight so I can't post any images for a while. Good luck on the good ones! The Raw Purchases are adding up

I still need 60 coins (30 easy and 30 tough) Hey Friends, I have started a new set of morgans now with 2 nice 10 coin purchases. Trying to buy the high grade easy coins first and then go for MS or lower on the finals. Good picks grabbed a 1894-O MS64 last night for 150. The good part of starting over with my Morgan set is that I decided to venture into all MS dollar sets and will very slowly be adding new sets to my registry. I will get the raw coins graded after I have acquired 100 or more

The Raw Purchases

Didn't think I would do it again. Friends, Yea I went out on a limb last night and purchased around 40 Morgan & Peace Dollars. I am in hopes they will grade at least MS62 but I will have a better opinion when I receive them. Nothing Special

Things are going well on my side of the U.S. and I did finally get my check from Heritage for the Florida Fun auction. NO CORPORATE COMPETITION SETS NEEDED

A corporation does not get to the top by being HONEST Friends, Yep I too have seen the light, being a carpenter and not having any work last year my set crashed. RE: Going Postal

The Auctions are doing great for the sellers

I am glad not to be buying right now Friends, As you know I sent most of my set to Heritage. The auctions did well except for 6 high dollar coins ( one of which I already sold and the other 5 PQ Dollars is looking to purchase). I realy need some time to redo pictures

A new shot of an old coin Friends, Well being a carpenter my hands have the ware of an old tree and the size of a Mack truck compared to this tiny camera. I really need a tripod but most of all I need to get good with inside lighting. My camera skills are by far great but efficient for me. The Road Trip is Out

The ASEs were all MS69 Friends, I finally got in touch with the sellers of that set of ASEs for sale I was going to drive 50 miles to purchase. The whole set was MS69 but I don't think they had the 2008W rev of 07s. The conversation went on a while and I invited them to check out our society and told them they could not get so much information for free anywhere else. May be my first coin purchase of the year

Graded-ANA-PNG? Friends, I have been e-mailing someone on a full set of ASE's graded by NGC. I did ask the grades and was told they were ANA & PNG (go figure). I will meet them tomarrow to see what they are graded at and if they are 70's they will be my first purchase this year. It will be nice to have some coins besides Morgans in my safe to admire. ORLANDO FUN is over

I did quite well on my set Friends, As you know I did send the best of my set to Heritage for auction. I do have a passion for the collection so you know I had some hefty reserves on quite a few of them. A good New Year for all of us Friends,I received some news today that excited me so I wanted to pass it on.I know a lot of coins went down a little in value since last year same time but the news is they are going to go up. The number of collectors has doubled this year so now it will seem harder to find that special coin and when you do there will be twice the amount of bidders.If a dealer has a coin you want he is more than likely going to profit well because they can't keep any good coins
