Snowed in since Sunday

Friends,

There is nothing worse to me than being stuck at the house. I have checked the journals to read something new once every 3-4 hours, so yes I guess I am very caught up with all of the journals. Tuesday had a little excitement as 15 of the neighbors kids and my 2 ripped through the 32 acres of snowy fields on 4 wheelers with wheel barrow bodies tied to the rears for sleds.

I have started a few new sets this year a.k.a. (W K F "fluff" sets)that I think will prove to be fun and educational. A early type set and old mint sets with 1 coin which will fill my collection with quite a few 1800s silver and coppers. The first purchase of 7 or so coins was shipped Monday so I will be able to get a start on those sets this weekend or early next week.

I did e-mail the guy on the 1893s Morgan but no reply. I do intend on calling him Friday to see how that situation is sitting. Although it is a much wanted coin in my dreams it will not be a purchase that I will make foolishly and have a piece of @%%@. I, just like all of you have better things to do with my money than counterfeit or damaged @%%@.

So as you can see I am working hard to finish my new years resolution in the first month so I can have it behind me and move forward. I am already working on another 1800s set of coins for the end of the month 6-10 coins. so my sets should show a little improvement by February.

As the end of April nears hopefully I will pull out enough money to purchase my wife a new camera. She had a good one but it was stolen. The coin pictures of all new last year and beginning of this year will have to wait. Don't think that I am selfish in not replacing the camera for her right away, it is her hobby. She has a stash put up that would purchase a few nice cannon cameras, but she wants me to use my coin money since I use her camera for posting pictures. I will buy her a nice Nikon with 3 lenses for her birthday in April so my new pics will wait until then. And congrats to all award winners this year.
