I promised myself to renew my membership to grade some morgans this winter

Friends;

In the blast of all the expenses lately I have not renewed my membership for the free graded coins. I still have one purchase left this coming week and have decided to relax afterwords and enjoy life for a while. Heck, I always enjoy life but sometimes it can get a little hectic. I have 8 or so Morgans that do need graded which will keep me from spending money on those already graded.

I am having a great time working on the Type Set that I started this year, it is starting to look like a work in progress. Heck the points buried my Morgan Dollars. Speaking of which, the guy finally e-mailed me on the 1893s----he sold it when he went to Florida to escape the snow we had. Offered me some gold coins but you know that's not what makes me tick.

I do a special kick on some of my Morgans that really pulls out the luster on any coins that are not blast white. The first two submissions I sent in years ago I received coins back with PVC residue problems. I went to the kitchen, got a pot of water to a high boil, grabbed the coins with rubber tongs and splashed each side a few seconds {long enough to dampen the grit}. Afterword set on a good towel and pat "not rub" dry.

If my coin has any bad details it will show for sure. The luster in the coin triples with everything clear as the grit is depleted. There is a lot to say with a XF or AU Morgan that has a great luster. All the coins in my set that are PCGS with new holder = (no coin or set #) have been hot rinsed. Of coarse I will still receive details grades on some. But I like the shine.

P.S.--Don't drop the coin into the pot. Try this with a piece of scrap or pocket change a few times to see for yourself.

NO GUARANTIES------Happy coin collecting
