Why not allow ANACS-graded coins into the Registry

I don't see anything wrong with it

I own probably 10 coins that were graded by ANACS, and find no instance at all where I thought the coins weren't graded accurately to a level of standards that both NGC and PCGS would respect. I personally think that the only area where ANACS has an issue is the perception in the coin collecting community that they're grading standards are inferior to NGC or PCGS, and I feel that is exactly that; a perception. ANACS may of course be helping to feed that by their willingness to grade coins that NGC and PCGS won't go near. That, to me, is not a crime, so long as those coins are graded accurately, which I have never seen an example of them not having done so. That said, bring them on!!!

I totally agree with you.  ANACS coins should be allowed by NGC.  Their grading standards are just as accurate in my opinion.  I've been in this business for over 50 years now and ANACS is fine by me!  Look out though.  Soon we are going to have the debate for CAC slabbed coins too!  We'll see what happens I guess.

Will ANACS ever be allowed by NGC?

I suggest you do not hold your breath while waiting.

For what it’s worth, I would also like to see ANACS coins included. I have a couple dozen that certainly appear to me to be accurately graded.

I also agree that NGC should allow ANACS coins in the registry.  However, US collectors are lucky since they can at least still use PCGS coins.  World collectors can't even include PCGS coins in their registries.
