Money Grows on the Family Tree

Who would have thought that there was a tie to my coin collecting and my wife's genealogy? I love Christmas. It seems like I always come up with some screwy ideas for presents. As luck would have it, I was looking around the U.S. Mint web site looking to pick up the odd mint issues I haven't been able to afford during the rest of the year. My Brief Time at the Baltimore Show

I parted with 4 figures, but brought nothing home. Wow, it's already been two weeks since the Baltimore show. Order late...Shipping Today Not to keep hitting a dead horse but I could not get onto the Mint's order page till 5:45PM (EST) and my order went through at 05:57 PM (EST). Well today I got an email from the Mint stating that my ASEs were on the way. Check the Mint page and it read SHIPPED . So to all those still waiting do not give up hope. My number was 38388xxx. I'll soon be trying this! For all of the eyeball loop enthusiasts here in our world, there just may be a better way to examine coins. Returned 25th Anniversary SAE sets These late coming 25th Anniversary SAE sets makes me wonder. What do you think the U.S. Mint would do with returned 25th Anniversary SAE sets?? Sets that the original buyer bought, opened the boxes and saw the poor quality and returned them. Would the U.S. Mint repackaging them and resell them again?? This might be a buyer be aware!! Stuck on STUPID

Eagles again Hello all and congrats to Kamakazy great set. My last post I was person_without_enough_empathying about the big guys getting so many sets I did not mean to sound so cynical but I just want collectors to get the sets and not someone who will melt them for profit. 4yr old... stage 4 Cancer

She has cancer in her kidneys, lungs, and heart! I just found out yesterday that my high school best friend Dave's 4yr old daughter has stage 4 cancer in her kidneys, lungs, and heart. I am just dumbfounded, sad, and so many other things. 2nd submission

Morgans I finally decided to put my membership to more use. I decided to certify some of my raw Morgan Dollar, Philadelphia Mint, date set. Among others. So i started with some of the more expensive ones: 1893 P (AU range) 1899 P (MS 62 but hoping for 63, range) 1901 P (AU range) and: 1884 S (AU, i think its cleaned but it could go both ways, either way i want it certified) 1882 CC (MS63 range?) First graded 2011 Tafelberg R2 coin in the world - World wide fund for nature 50th anniversary - Highest grade P

Of the 5,000 minted only 1,500 sold in South Africa. My first ever graded coin! Purchased from JD Numismatic Corp on the 2nd of November 2011 through Bidorbuy on the internet.
