For those that wish, this is how it works. To start it off, post a pic of any commemorative half or any coin dated 1936. Let's say next someone post an image of a 1936 Washington quarter. You would now need to post a pic of the same type coin (a Washington quarter) or anything dated 1936. Let's see some cool coins.

In 2021 the Madison County Coin Club had Daniel Carr produce a club medal. The silver medal only had 27 minted. The club is going to have a 2024 medal also minted by Daniel Carr. You can learn more at the club's website at: http://mccc.anaclubs.org/

I heard about this recently: https://www.sportscollectorsdaily.com/collectable-offers-fractionalized-ownership-of-valuable-sports-memorabilia/ The idea of fractional ownership of a baseball card as an investment that you will never hold (and probably have no interest in as a collector). This can't possibly be good for collectables and hobbies. I don't like it for cards. I don't want it for coins. It's a hobby... this seems... joyless.

Hello, had submitted a coin for the first time and do realize I did a few mistakes on submission form but corrected as soon as I was notified and submission was sent as a Walkthrough but it’s been over a week and status still on received and was wondering why? Sent it in as mint error and hope it was the right option.

Hello all! I have a question i was hoping you could help me with as I cannot find any answers. I have a 1965 dime that has some stamping errors. The back of the dime has no stamping and on the front there are letters missing from what looks like a stamp error and also on the neck of Roosevelt. I know it need to be cleaned up a bit but please see attached pictures. I have not seen any other coin like this and am unsure if it's worth anything or if it's worth something or just something odd to hang to. Can you please assist me on this? I appreciate your help! Thank you!

New to all of this...found this in a corn field while metal detecting. I realize there is environmental damage from being in the ground potentially 230+ years. Looking for opinions the potential value as well as getting it conditioned and graded. I have only touched it with a toothpick. Thanks in advance for you input! Jim

Greetings to all from a Newbie. First, thanks for sharing you knowledge and experience. Your suggested resource list is very informative and reading your responses to questions lets me compare coins I have to those others inquire about. I’m beginning to figure out what I have and, more importantly, what I don’t have - especially all those doubled dies that aren’t… I have a modest collection, mostly of coins passed on to me by family members. Those are older circulated US coins and late 1700s to mid 1900s world coins. I myself collected Kennedy Half Dollars, Bicentennial coins, a few small dollars and a jug of cents from circulation. Over the years I’ve en
