  1. Hello @kelmarie27, Thank you for contacting us and providing images of your coin. Unfortunately, we are not able to identify or authenticate coins via photos. An in-hand evaluation by the grading team would be required in order to confirm if it is genuine and if the coin is a variety. You can learn more about how to submit coins here: NGC Coins | How to submit. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  2. Hello @Zack G., Thank you for reaching out to us and sharing your images. Unfortunately, we are not able to identify or authenticate coins via photos. An in-hand evaluation by the grading team would be required to determine if the coin is genuine. You can learn more about how to submit coins here: NGC Coins | How to submit. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  3. Hello @powermad5000, thank you for contacting us. Usually we will ship out order separately if they are requesting different services, resulting in different turnaround times. Coins that have NCS services requested usually take an additional 20 business days of processing, so we will ship these out separately once they are completed. We are able to ship orders back together if requested on the submission form, however. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  4. Hello @GoldFinger1969, I have heard back from my team. They advised that, due to the potential security risks, our team is currently only allowing image files to be uploaded at this time. They did advise that, if you choose, you can export your PDF to an imaging format we accept and upload that instead if you prefer. We hope this helps! Please let us know if you need help with anything else. Thank you!
  5. Hello @GoldFinger1969, hope you're doing well! I have not heard anything back on this matter, but I sent another follow-up to our chat board engineering team now. If they reply, I will pass on their decision. Thank you for your patience in the meantime!
  6. Hello @tmichigan1837, please kindly follow the instructions on our Terms Of Use | NGC page to correctly credit any photos or images used. Thank you!
  7. Hello @Oldbeggar, thank you for your inquiry. All decisions made on if a coin qualifies for a mint error would be up to our grading team. Unfortunately, all coins are situational, and we would need the coin in hand to confirm if it would qualify for a mint error. Ultimately, you would need to send the coin to see if it qualifies to be attributed as such (since we are unable to review via photos or email). Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  8. Hello @berlineagle, thank you for contacting us. I have sent a note to the verifier now to have this submission pulled. If they are able to determine that the coin was incorrectly labeled/attributed, this should be fixed in the next 2-3 business days. It does not appear that the invoice has been graded yet, so this may be a description change made by the grading team, but I will pass your message along just in case. In the meantime, please let us know if you need assistance with anything else. Thank you!
  9. Hello @Christopher Ray, thank you for contacting us. Currently, NGC has a list of varieties that we are currently able to designate. You may kindly also find all the varieties we designate at our VarietyPlus | NGC page. If the variety you are looking for is not listed, it is likely that NGC does not currently designate it. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  10. Hello @R.D. KNIGHT, thank you for contacting us. Do you mind kindly providing the certificate number of your coin so that we may do further research into the labeling description? Thank you in advance!
  11. Hello @Joyce C Novitzke, thank you for contacting us. Yes, the coin would have been originally reviewed for both the Vam 7 and Vam 7A. However, if you'd like your coin to be reviewed once again, you may send your coin in with just the VarietyPlus service checked on the submission form, and your coin will be reviewed once again for its variety. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!

  14. Hello @Coinbruv, thank you for contacting us and sharing beautiful photos of your coin. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm via photos if the coin is authentic or genuine. An in-hand evaluation by the grading team would be required to determine the authenticity of your coin. You may consider posting your question in our general forum chat, taking your coin to a local coin/currency dealer for further information, or following our How To Submit | NGC guidelines to submit the coin to us for grading and authentication. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  15. Hello @Bill Schroeder, thank you for contacting us. I have sent you a direct message with the answer to your questions above. Please kindly check your messages when you are able. Thank you!
  16. Hello @GoldFinger1969, thank you for contacting us. I will send a message to our chat board engineers to see if it is possible to add PDFs as a format that we support for attachments. Please note that I am unsure if this is intentional or not, so they may choose not to, but I will be sure to pass your request along for consideration. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
  17. Hello @Filipinas Bullion Collection, thank you for contacting us. I am going to reply to your questions in the same format you have asked them below: 1. If an Australian lunar coin 1oz needs an oversized holder, the cost would be the grading tier + $20.00 USD. So if you sent it via the Modern grading tier, it would be $19.00 for the grading service + $20.00 for the holder if it is necessary. 2. Yes, as long as all the coins fell under the Modern grading tier, you may put them on the same submission form. 3. Yes, as long as all the coins fell under the Modern grading tier, you may put them on the same submission form (please specify which coins need which type of holder however). 3. Modern Medals and Tokens must be placed on a separate submission from Modern coins. 4. World Coins and US Coins must be placed on separate submission forms. 5. Yes, we do not charge you until your submission gets to us in-house, where we will apply your credit and charge you for the remaining difference. The credit will be automatically applied to the order once we go to take the payment. We do not have a location online where you may see your credit balance, but you may email us or call us to obtain the balance you have remaining on your account. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  18. Hello @Christopher Ray, thank you for contacting us. I have sent you an email in reference to your inquiry, please kindly check your email for further correspondence. Thank you!
  19. Hello @Eugen2021, thank you for contacting us. Yes, if the Fivaz-Stanton number is attributed on the PCGS coin, you may send this coin for the CrossOver service with VarietyPlus requested as an additional service. From there, please add in the comments section of the submission form to include the Fivaz-Stanton number on the label. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  20. Hello @Vess1, thank you for contacting us. The NGC US Coin Price Guide shows average dealer retail prices based on actual, documented transactions and other information reported by collectors, dealers and auction houses for NGC-certified coins. Unfortunately, if there isn't any report sales of a particular coin in recent times, then only the previous history data will be shown. Kindly keep in mind that NGC does not assign values on coins or collectibles. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  21. Hi @uae.numis, currently, that is not a clause that is listed on the US Location's website: Please kindly note that laws may vary by country, so there may be slight differences in which submission center you submit your collectibles through. The screenshot you posted above is true for the London, UK office submission center. Please let us know if you need help with anything else.
  22. Hello @Baba Beck. thank you for reaching out to us and sharing photos of your coin. Unfortunately, we cannot authenticate or evaluate coins via photos. An in-hand evaluation by the grading team would be required to both grade and authenticate coins. You may kindly find submission details and instructions can be found here: NGC Coins | How to submit. If you would like to have someone take a look at the coin before deciding to submit the coin, you can visit a local coin dealer. NGC Authorized dealers can be found here: NGC | Dealer Locator. Please kindly keep in mind that NGC does not buy, sell, or value coins. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  23. Hello @uae.numis, thank you for contacting us. I think you may be referring to the clause in our guarantee that reads: Subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations specified below, an NGC-certified coin, token, or medal (collectively, a “Coin”) encapsulated in an NGC holder is guaranteed to be: Genuine (except for NGC Ancients-graded Coins, for the reasons explained here); and Not overgraded (meaning that they are not graded higher than NGC’s Grading Standards) This information may kindly be found HERE. To answer your question, it is possible for your coin's grade to be lowered when you send it back in for a regraded, depending on what the graders find when the coin is being re-evaluated. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  24. Hello @europecoins, thank you for contacting us. NCS first evaluates a coin to determine if it will benefit from conservation. If NCS determines that a coin will benefit from conservation, we will contact you for approval, and they will perform the necessary conservation techniques. NCS conservation removes harmful surface contaminants, stabilizes a coin for long-term preservation and can dramatically improve a coin's eye appeal. Kindly keep in mind that NCS does not provide grade protection or any type of grade guarantee for coins submitted to NCS. NCS evaluates every coin in order to determine whether that coin will benefit from conservation. If you'd like to read more about NCS and more about our processes, please kindly visit the link HERE. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  25. Hello @BULLY, thank you for contacting us. These are some good suggestions that you have! I will be happy to forward your post/suggestions on to upper management to see if these details can be added to our Price Guide/Census. Kindly keep in mind that if they do decide to implement these changes, it would take our Web Development team some time to create these categories. In the meantime, please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
