  1. Hello @Gary_1877, thank you for contacting us. Carrier tracking may indicate that your submission has been received at our office, however it can still take a short amount of time to reflect within our online submission tracking. All packages received move into an intake process where the contents are inventoried and compared against the submission form as validation before moving forward into the grading process. Should there be any discrepancy encountered with an item itself, a missing or extra item, or any other concern for that matter, our customer service team will reach out for clarification accordingly. Please note, the intake process can take upwards of 7-14 business days before the order will reflect within online submission tracking. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
  2. Hello @Joyce C Novitzke, thank you for contacting us and letting us know that "EX" was missing from the outside of your package. I have sent an email to our receiving department with the information you provided so that they can keep a look out for your package. Please note that it may take a little time to enter your submission into the system once your package is received. Please let us know if you need help with anything else. Thank you!
  3. Hello @John Polovick, it does appear that that is an old article posted of when the coins were first released. At the bottom, you can click on a link that explains how to submit these coins, and that webpage is usually updated. You can always find the most up-to-date information on labels and what coins qualify Labels | NGC page. Specifically for the 1921 and 2021 Morgan and Peace Dollars, you can find their hundredth-anniversary label HERE. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  4. Hello @John Polovick, the coins do not need to be submitted in their mint packaging for the First Release designation. Just be sure to select "First Release" as an additional label service on the form. You may cross off the "Return Mint Packaging" on the form. Please let us know if you need help with anything else. Thank you!
  5. Hello @Vendetta50, thank you for contacting us. You are free to send your coins in the mint capsules or take them out and place them in non-PVC flips. If you do decide to send them in their mint packaging and would like the packaging back, please be sure to select "Return Mint Packaging" as an additional service on the submission form if you want the capsules back. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  6. Hello @davidar, thank you for those details. I have sent our verification team an email to confirm if the coin is attributed correctly. I will send you a message once I have a reply. Thank you for your patience in the meantime!
  7. Hello @John Polovick. Yes, you can send your coins in the mint packaging capsules. We do not charge to open these capsules for you once received. If you would like your mint packaging returned to you, please kindly select the add-on service "Return Mint Packaging". There is a cost of $5.00 additional to return the packaging back to you. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  8. Hello @Idiosynsatiable, thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, NGC can't really advise you on if your coins are worth sending in for grading. That is up to the individual and why you want them graded. Some people have them graded with the intent just to sell the coins. Others have them graded just because they want to protect them in the holder and don't really have any interest in selling them or the value of the coin. If your intent is to sell them, then you'd want to compare the cost of joining and getting the coin graded versus what you could get for the coin raw. You'd have to either check online to get an idea of what that type of coin sells for or have them appraised by a currency dealer. Kindly keep in mind that NGC does not buy, sell, or value coins. If you do choose to send the coins for grading, you will need to determine a declared value for each coin. The value we ask you for is an insurance value, a number you would feel comfortable with in terms of a replacement value if your item was lost or damaged while with us. Each tier of service covers up to a maximum specified insurance level and you must choose a tier of service that will accommodate the declared value for your item. Services and Fees | NGC. You can learn more about how to submit coins here: NGC Coins | How to submit. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  9. Hello @John Polovick, thank you for contacting us. You may submit your 2021 Morgan and Peace dollar coins with or without the mint packaging. The mint packaging is not required by NGC in order for the coins to be graded or labeled/attributed properly. If you do decide to send them in their mint packaging and would like the packaging back, please be sure to select "Return Mint Packaging" as an additional service on the submission form. You can read more about submitting these coins HERE. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!

  15. Hello @Janicesellshomes, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, we are not able to identify varieties on coins via photos. An in-hand evaluation by the grading team would be required to determine if the coin has a variety or a mint error. However, you may visit our VarietyPlus | NGC page to review the varieties we designate and to see photos of those varieties. If you'd like to submit your coin to determine if it may have a variety, you can read more about the process here: NGC Coins | How to submit. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!

  19. Hello @Rods coins, thank you for contacting us. Our grading team would need to have the coin in hand to confirm if it is genuine/legitimate in order to grade and reholder it. Kindly keep in mind that NGC does not currently CrossOver coins from ANACS, so the coin would be treated as "raw". You can learn more about how to submit coins here: NGC Coins | How to submit. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  20. Hello @CurtM14, thank you for contacting us. NCS Conservation will need to have your coin in hand to confirm if conservation may benefit your coin. However, you may visit our Coin Conservation | NCS web page to review defects that NCS may or may not be able to assist with. We hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
  21. Hello @PMH, thank you for contacting us. Yes, most medals can be found in our NGC Census | NGC. Just type in the medal description in the search bar and you should be able to find it if we have graded it in the past. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  22. Hello @Roy Winters, thank you for contacting us. Yes, you may send both submissions in the same box, as long as there are two submission forms present for the two different orders you plan to send in. Please kindly order them accordingly in the box to how they are listed on your submission form. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  23. Hello @Invest In History Co., thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, NGC does not provide provenance of any coins on coins graded. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  24. Hello @Gileshokie, to submit a coin not listed in the VarietyPlus resource, you will want to state on the submission form that you are submitting for consideration as a new variety and include a description of the coin's unique characteristics, as well as the variety number. Variety designations are assigned at the discretion of the NGC grading team, and designation is not guaranteed. Please ensure to select the "VarietyPlus" additional service for this to be review. Please let us know if you need help with anything else. Thank you!
  25. Hello @Gileshokie, thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, I do not see that this is a variety that NGC currently designates. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. You may kindly find all the varieties we currently attribute here: VarietyPlus | NGC. Please let us know if you need help with anything else. Thank you!
