  1. If it was on a cent planchet, there wouldn't be much lettering showing as the cent planchet is smaller than a nickel planchet. Hard to tell on the "M" as the coin has too much damage.
  2. The main reason I sold off most my ASE's. Tired of chasing every one they are selling!
  3. I would think that the known mint and also mintage numbers would be a factor also.
  4. Yep, I have a few I tossed into the coin jar. Just got one in change at the laundromat yesterday. Lol
  5. Yea, not seeing the blue. Too bad, blue looks nice on those old coppers. Nice sets you have going there.
  6. Thanks Mark. Didn't seem to find him. I'm wondering if the software update a while back took out older history.
  7. That's a shame. Usually you can knock the value down a couple grades. The scratch is very distracting though.
  8. Someone posted a nice crusty CBH ats and it reminded me of him. He sent me a nice VF30 CBH as a gift years ago and it still resides in my collection. I'm not sure how to search for the last time someone posted or even look for a member anymore since the software changed a while back. Was just wondering if he was still around somewhere.
  9. The mints quality has gone way down hill in my opinion.
  10. Maybe for a small necklace. It has a small hole at the top for a chain.
  11. Errors are only worth what someone will pay for it. Hard to determine values for them except searching auction prices for the same type error.
  12. The scope lighting is not gonna give you the looks you are looking for. As stated, use your cell phone.
  13. Pictures are a little too poor to say. Even if it is ms60 as someone marked, it would not be worth grading fees. I'd just keep it as is.
  14. I guess they are ok finds for people that have more time on their hands than most. I'm basically retired now and still would not be using my time to 20x dissect coins for anomalies so minute that they have no significant value whatsoever. I may spend a little time on known varieties but all these pocket change errors are beginning to bore me. Lol
