  1. Ya, I collect jeffs and wound up getting these cheap on ebay a few yrs back. Had intentions of getting others but never got there. Hey David, have you ever figured out what type of metal these were made of?
  2. Very nice grade on that. Going by these pics, it's really hard to determine the steps. Looks like some small merging going on from what I can see. Better in-focus and closer pics would be better to determine.
  3. Hard to tell from the pics but it does looked polished from what I can see.
  4. My wife's grandpa had one of these that he got back years ago. I posted it here a few years ago and yep, a cast copy. Just like the one above.
  5. Yep, they look like the mint product to me also. I have some, but can't remember what colors.
  6. Nice looking off-center cent. They are collectible but you won't get rich off it. It's nice that it has the date also.
  7. I have a few these myself. I only have two that are graded. I also wanted a set so I would have both years. I've always liked the Columbian halves and looking for raw ones that haven't been cleaned is another issue. Have fun looking for them as there always seems to be a good abundance of them on ebay. Here are is my graded set. Sorry for the poor pics but my computer is in storage and these are the only one's I could find of them on my phone. Both are NGC MS 64 with the 92' having a green bean. Lol
  8. You don't have to start a registry with competiveness in mind. My sets could never compete with most other sets. I created my sets just for a basic inventory. You name your own sets, add pictures of the coins and add any info you want for the coin in any series that you create. Just think of it as a record keeping section for your coins. You don't have to compete with anyone. If ya wanna show them off, the registry also supplies a link to your sets that you can even add to your sig line here on the forums. It's really a nice tool that NGC provides for free.
  9. Copper is a soft metal. Doesn't take much to move it.
  10. It looks like a proof to me. Are you sure you're not pulling these from a Philadelphia Proof Set?
  11. This is why I always bid the max of what I will pay. If I get outbid or sniped, no biggie.
  12. Not a bad looking morgan. Probably grade around MS63 in my opinion. Nice $75-100 coin.
  13. You're lucky I'm not grading them. I have to have glasses on just to read the dates on coins now. Lol
  14. This site will give you more insight to what you are determining as good. Very helpful site. https://www.pcgs.com/photograde#//
  15. It actually looks like the cud interferred with the lettering on Cent on the reverse. Nice cud!
  16. I'm pretty sure the signature was on every comm of that type. All my coins are in storage but pretty sure I have both of them also. Still in OGP tho'.
  17. Condolences going out to his family and friends!
  18. Nice "star" Quarter. I only have one also in my birthset. The Quarter also. 1959 67*Cameo.
