  1. First thought I had! I would think that if a person can find a coin forum, they should be able to find the value of a 1972 circulated and damaged quarter. 25c
  2. Ya, I do everything on my phone as we don't have wifi. The only bad thing about using incognito is it hides my other pages that I have open in regular chrome. I would have to use incognito for everything. Don't care for that. Thanks for info tho'. It would be much simpler if ngc could just fix the problem. This is the only website I use that has this problem!
  3. I was merely saying how I feel about these minor anomalies on coins. They are a waste of time to me. They have no value and basically no collectors who will pay extra for them. There are PLENTY of threads on this forum asking about minor things on coins. You probably could have answered your own question by looking at older threads. If you took me as being mean and rude, then so be it. If you like looking for things like that, then go for it. But don't expect me to worry about your feelings. I'm not a comfort dog!
  4. Same problem I ran in to on my 22' Peace Dollar. Soo many vams! Best thing is just look for the prominent die markers and start narrowing down from there. The 21's had tons of die cracks so that may not be the best way to find the right vam.
  5. I still get surprised at how many people dissect anomalies on coins that have to be viewed with a microscope. If I can't see it with the naked eye, it ain't worth wondering about. What a waste of time!!
  6. Even after a site maintenance, the sign in process still hasn't changed. I guess this is an issue that ngc just doesn't care about!!!
  7. There will always be the bulk buyers. The mint is slowly just eliminating the low budget collectors with the increasing prices of their products. I put an end to my proof set collection and my ASE collection because of this. I will eventually sell these off and resort to classic coinage. The only way my danscos will continue is what I find in pocket change.
  8. The main reason I canceled all my subs and haven't bought from them since 2020.
  9. How did you determine it is a silver coin? The P mints are clad. The only silver quarters would be with an "S" mintmark and be from a silver proof set.
  10. Great insight. I'm starting to understand Rogers comments now.
  11. There are quite a few Vams that reference the doubled olive branches and clash on the eagles right wing. This one was the 2013 Bailey 2DQ and was reassigned as the 2DS. It has a couple other die markers not noted on the variety but is still a known variety.
  12. I posted this in the US Coins forum, not the Newbies section. The Vam isn't that big of an issue and doesn't add any value to the coin. The post was directed at those more experienced with Vams and maybe those that might be interested in Vams. Your comments leads me to think that you believe there are no more serious or experienced collectors on this forum anymore. I'm getting to the point of realizing that if it is something that does not interest you, then no one else would be interested either.
  13. So I had this marked as a Vam 2DS using Vam World. But mine doesn't have the faint die break under G in God. Anyway, there are tons of Vams for this year. Mine has a few things going on. I was trying to narrow it down but not quite sure which one it is. The pictures look pretty clear on my phone with text and lines of the issues. I just thought if anyone here still checks out Vams could look at it. This is why I posted in the US Coins section and not the Newbie Section. When you look at the link below, you can see why these can be confusing. Lol http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.compute.amazonaws.com/wiki/1922-P_VAMs
  14. I asked for help with a Vam, not a lecture!!!
  15. I noticed you just joined. Do you have any numismatic knowledge/experience? We don't need anymore youtube videos giving out misinformation.
  16. Well this is more of a challenge for the senior collectors. The 1922 series has a lot of vams. Most of them are just cool factors but there are some in the top 50 recognized by the tpgs.
  17. So I have this Peace Dollar in an older pcgs slab. MS62. Was searching on VamWorld for the vam but there are soo many that I just got more confused and gave up. Lol Anyone here that can nail it down? Thanks, Bobby
  18. I'd pass. Looks like it has holes in it and I think I see cast spots in it. I don’t know anything about these but this coin just does not look right to me.
  19. Sorry, that is damaged. Either ground down or a dryer coin.
  20. So I happen to have a set of reprocessed 43's and also an MS65 original 43'. The first pics are of one of my reprocessed cents. Notice how it almost looks plated, has a blueish tint and how the edges are real shiny? The original cent at the two bottom pics show better fields and a more natural color. Pics are not the greatest but hope this helps.
  21. With the other lettering being backwards, I guessing hammered with another cent. Damaged.
  22. When people ask for opinions and then ignore and debate the opinions, it's time to just ignore them.
