  1. Graffiti is quite common on coins. I found this one a while back in change.
  2. Holy c#@p, thank you very much! I fell in love with that Frankie! What a beauty! Thank you for the opportunity my friend! Btw, looking forward to checking out the numismatist. I love those old publications!
  3. If you're thinking this is a clip, it's not. A clip doesn't look like that. It looks like damage to me also.
  4. Yep, Christmas at home. Been a tough year but the grandkids had a nice Christmas and that's what it's all about! Hope everyone's New Year is much better!!
  5. I see what you are referring to but looks like maybe some die deterioration and nothing more.
  6. These coins look very circulated and may be metal detector finds.
  7. Some of his toned Morgans look NT to me but I do question some others. I'm also not wondering if his pictures are scanned. A scanner has tendencies to take away a lot from a coin, including luster and possible representation of actual colors.
  8. Just something about the coin that just doesn't look right to me. I just don't like the color or the pics.
  9. Not to sure. The memorial looks to have pmd. The A in America just looks to have some metal fill and the One Cent looks to be a nice die crack. jmo
  10. Guess that means you don't have an answer to my question!! My ignore list is growing larger on this forum!
  11. I'm not quite sure what your point is. I believe it is a real but harshly cleaned Morgan. I was only inquiring why you thought it was a counterfeit and telling the OP that his coin was completely worthless. Regardless of condition, it's still silver.
  12. And if we treated every new person showing a coin as a counterfeiter, we wouldn't have a forum left!
  13. Look like typical chinese fakes to me. These are also key date morgans and would probably be in slabs if genuine. $128 for key dates? LMAO
  14. Yea, I'll just let you handle this one until the OP answers your question.
  15. Wow, Generous contest! And we don't even have to use our highly intelligent minds to guess anything. Lol Count me in! Thanks for the chance!
  16. If I knew nothing about coins and someone starts mentioning possible counterfeits, the first thing I would do is get a magnet and run it over the coins. If nothing sticks, then have them looked at by someone you trust or possibly better pictures here also.
  17. Could be a slight struck through but I don't think any value would warrant getting it graded.
