  1. Just because you found this in a roll of quarters does not mean this quarter came straight from the US Mint. Most rolls are just quarters thrown together by someone and then sells them back to the bank.
  2. Or just looks like something stained it. I would almost guess that acetone might clean it up.
  3. Yea, not really knowing what you are referring to. If you are referring to orientation, a canadian cent if flipped sideways, the reverse will be upright as a US cent, the reverse will be upside down.
  4. This is actually the most respectable answer you have given in your thread. The rest has just been bashing members which only brings on more attacks. If you could keep your answers more respectful, there are many more members with lots of knowledge that would probably chime in. Bashing answers only steers most of them away.
  5. It's actually funny that you know soo much about coins but you are asking if your coin was an RPM. Hand punching mint marks ended in 1989. Your coin is a 2005 which was made with a die!
  6. Well another NEWBIE to put on my ignore list!! LMAO
  7. It's soo funny that newbies come here to ask opinions, don't care to listen to the opinions and then preach to everyone about how they know more about coins than the people they are asking opinions from!!
  8. The pictures look like a copper cent to me. I don't see anything that makes me believe it's a steel cent.
  9. Good to see you back Mike and glad that everyone is feeling ok! Look forward to seeing you post some more my friend!
  10. Agree with the people that posted with actual information. Just a cool find in the wild and would make a good hole filler in an album.
  11. It would help if you let us know what you're wanting to know about it.
  12. I'm not wondering if the thread was moved by a mod.
  13. Unless someone else here recognizes this as a collectible Token that the TPGs will recognize, to me it just looks like a silver bullion piece that is just a 1oz piece of silver.
  14. Looks like a very cool die crack to me! Great find!
  15. I don't see a 1956 penny. I see a closeup of a hunk of metal with maybe a T on it.
  16. You might want to reference all the other posts that the OP has started before you draw the conclusion that he hasn't had any positive/welcoming posts.
  17. I thought you had already taken this to an x-ray lab?? You're starting to get a little inconsistent here.
  18. Maybe you should put your little tin hat back on and search for more cents in the street!
  19. I'm wondering if at some time it wasn't plated with something? Also, if the xray was completely accurate, it would be very helpful if we knew what metals it detected.
