    It actually looks like a 19?4 to me. It looks as if the backside of the 4 is showing. Is it silver?

    The only one's that I like to keep if I find them are the 1979 Wide Rim or Near Date as they are called.

    There are quite a few collectors out there that will pay good money for toned silver eagles. It mostly depends on the type of colors that they tone. Silver eagles are known for some wild toning. Here's one of mine for example.

    Without seeing the reverse, the coins looks to have a slight broadstruck. Not really much value, except to those that might collect them, just a pretty cool find!

    Cyber-bully. Another term we never had to deal with. I just don't understand how a person can be bullied over the internet. It's just too easy to go to another page instead of sitting there reading something that you feel abused by. People have a choice of what they look at and/or what they listen to. Move on if you don't feel you have the strength to read something without it mentally affecting you!!

    On another note, sometimes letters on a screen don't always get taken the way that an individual is trying to express himself. If you have an attitude, it's always easy to represent someone else's comments as attitude also. Especially in a society today where most people get their feelings hurt too much! Some of us old timers are used to saying things directly to the point, as we grew up with, instead of worrying about someone getting their feelings slashed. Most the times it's not intentional, it's just way we were raised.

    I think his collecting slowed down some. Also it seems there was a point here at NGC where a lot of long time members kind of drifted off or just quit posting as much. He basically just hangs out on CT mostly now.
