  1. Looks like it most likely couldve been grease. Cool strike through.
  2. I agree with all the others. Reeded edges of the other coins they are bagged up with.
  3. I got one of the 1994 sets. The one that comes with the Thomas Jefferson silver dollar. The nickel has some beautiful toning on one side. The other side is blast white. The sellers called it a satin nickel.
  4. You got some very nice coins. I went and checked your registry out. Very nice sets.
  5. It sure is. I was excited to see this thread pop up. Ive got a few Id like to put on here.
  6. Im doing great now. I got to go back to work. We are over our covid. My wife and I both had it.
  7. Im talking about buying them from coin auctions or something like that. Only if I see them. Nicer ones. If I dont its no big deal. It will be a later on project. I may just buy a set of them already put together. Non graded. Ill probably change my mind several times before I get there.
  8. Im gonna build a proof set in graded coins. Gonna try for the higest graded possible on it. I gotta finish some other projects first. Im working on a 1967 SMS MS67 cameo set, full set of Franklin business strikes graded in PCGS and NGC, and a full set of silver Washington quarters in PCGS and NGC. Its gonna take me a while to finish those. I may be able to get the SMS set a little quicker. The penny will probably take me a while. In MS67 cameo they are pretty pricey. After I build it Im planning on 82 proof cameos as a side project. The SMS is the side project for now. The Franklins and GWs are my main focus. But the side project gives me a little break from those every once in a while. I figured Id just do the 82 penny varities raw as a side project also. I figured I could find them raw pretty cheap in Ebay auctions. Maybe. May find some decent ones in change. But like to find some nice clean BUs.
  9. I finally got my report put into my registry quarter set. Took me a while to type it. Im not real good at typing skills. If anyone reads it and sees something thats not accurate please let me know. I dont want to spread false information. I wrote it the best I could after several days of research. Hope I got everything correct. If anyone wants to read it its under 1932-1964 silver Washington quarters in the registry. Im ranked 124. Im planning on doing a little editing and improving but Im to tired tonight. Been a long day. Left for work at 3am and got home at 6 this evening so Ill probably try to edit it tomorrow. If anyone who wants to read it sees anything I need to change let me know and ill fix it. I want to set a goal of adding descriptions to my quarters and trying to improve my presentation. Gives me something to enjoy in the hobby and the research is helping me learn and grow. Thank you my good friends. Im blessed to have a great bunch of friends to mentor me in this hobby.
  10. Ive been thinking about trying to collect all the varities just because its my birth year. Instead of getting graded coins Id like to get one of those cardboard holders that has all the spots for them. Ive seen them on google. Not sure what they are called. But like to go for an uncirculated set. Nicest coins I can find for it. Not as an investment or anything like that. Just something neat for a birth year set.
  11. That was another thought that came to my mind.
