That ear needs a q-tip. Top photo look a bit blurry to me - or possibly the glare is making it seem that way. I believe based on what I see you have a regular coin.

Why would anyone want to do that or show up here to argue with you? We have enough silly word battles here so I surely do not want to see an issue from another forum brought here. Whatever occurred to cause you to get banned at CT is done and over. The bottom line is I do not think anyone really cares what caused it. My suggestion would be to move on and stop beating a dead horse. There are plenty of threads in this forum you might be able to positively contribute to.

I have looked at all of it - and noticed it took you 13 posts to show us this coin. Get it slabbed and then show us 1 picture of the front of slab and 1 picture of the back of slab.

Indeed. And that is even more curious. It often takes me months and months to see a current year coin from Philly or San Francisco.

If grade is not the main concern you really do not need a TPG to slab this coin. You can find plenty of items to protect this coin at a coin supply website or brick and mortar coin shop. If grading is important though then Conder provided good advice.

Good example of someone in their garage going to work on a coin for whatever reason.

Makes me wonder (since we can not see the posts) if you stepped on toes by providing a LOW value on a coin others (or the coin owner) thought should have a HIGH value and had paid a large amount for.

CT has its own "vibe" and some very knowledgeable members just like all the other sites. Not everyone fits with the culture in all forums. I wasn't a fan of the place and I found a couple other forums more to my liking. To each his own as the saying goes. OP sounds like he ruffled the wrong feathers in some way and got the boot - rightly or wrongly. Or possibly there is a back story and history that we are only getting one side of. Not to shabby at all. Sarcasm and witty remarks go a long way to getting likes not necessarily respect as it relates to subject matter. One I will hit like more often than the other.

Agree. Not a complete loss of identity, but certainly a big step down that path.

It straight graded at MS63. That is not the reason for my question though. I am not asking about is "pretty factor" as it's a mangy dog in my mind. I am seeking some feedback as to what might have caused this. I think several things are at play. But in the bigger scheme of things I am not certain on any so am asking for feedback without skewing peoples opinions with what mine are. Any thoughts?
